I know this film is a comedy but there was a moment in the trailer that really got to me. When a title card flashes saying ?Damon, Soderbergh, And Corn!? I thought nothing of it until another title card immediately followed, saying ?That?s right! CORN!? I got a little teary-eyed, to be honest. To me, it just seemed like faux-happiness. Something about the lettering, the orange background, really gave me the sense of a sad person trying to sustain fake happiness through tears. I could see a sadness lurking behind those words.
What do you guys think?
Forget corn -- Frank Welker is actually appearing on camera. And Scott Bakula is in it too, so it's like a Cats Don't Dance reunion.
Scott Bakula is the antidote for sadness. Sam Beckett lives!
