re: The Last Comedy to Win Best Picture?

Diane Keaton is one of my favorite actresses. Her bathtub scene in SHOOT THE MOON is one of the most brilliant bits of acting I have ever seen.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

She's magnificent. One of the things I love about her is the fact that she'll push the boundaries of screen acting that younger, more vapid actresses wouldn't dream of doing. And more often than not, it pays off in a big way.

Well, they can't all be Spencer Tracy. I think she's inherently interesting, intelligent yet silly, and a master of charm and seduction. She may not be a beauty, but she's managed to pin down some of Hollywood's most original thinking men.

FYI: In 1995, Empire magazine ranked Diane Keaton #46 on its "100 Sexiest Stars in Film History."

So there.

I think she is, but what the hell do I know? I wouldn't put her Grace/Vivien territory, but if we're talkin SEXY, then yeah!
