Not sure the best example to hang a story on is an overweight guy with an undiagnosed heart condition, but everything else is troubling.

It's not like this is the only story of bad working conditions at Amazon.
I have a friend who works for Audible (an Amazon company) and says there are employee breakdowns on a daily basis. And things got worse after this New York Times piece was published.

Oh, absolutely. It's a horrendous place. But haterobics' point is important and well taken. Should be recognized at the very least. The "Inside Amazing" piece is much more valid and poignant.
