I remember having to watch this every year on Earth Day in elementary school. Let's hope the movie doesn't go the way of THE GRINCH or THE CAT IN THE HAT.

The recent live-action adaptations have made me physically sick. This isn't going that route, but it does have things in common with the equally disgusting Horton.

After clicking on the link I thought the reason they had that photo of Chris Meledandri is because he's the actor they chose to do the voice of the Lorax.

Love, love, LOVE this book. I used to have whole sections of it memorized as a kid. I hope they do it justice. But, of course, I'll be seeing it anyway.
Now if only they turn the Butter Battle Book into a short film to be played Pixar-style at the beginning, I'd be all set.
