That 'Accidents Happen' cover just about killed me. When I used to take care of my friend's cat, I had the experience of walking into the apartment and finding the cat with that exact distressed expression.

This book pre-dates the series that was made popular (naturally). I believe this book set off the trend we now have come to know and love.
