re: NEARLY HOSPITALIZED AFTER SEEING 'MARTIN SHORT'S FAME BECOMES ME' Jul 8 2006, 11:08:44 PM
I have to say, in response to all the negative comments plaguing this thread, and pretty much any other thread on this board, as this non-important dog walker sees it, there's two kinds of people in the world Those who can empathize with what it feels like to put out, in a big way, some expression of creativity and have it crapped on, and those who haven't experienced that emotion. Broadway is not The Man, kids. Musical theatre isn't John Galt. The people who

Oh and by the way, in Fame Becomes Me, Brooks walks on stilts. Now that's entertainment! By the way, tonight I will be making Walli a Myspace. Link to be sent out tomorrow. Now must go. Very, very busy.

Hello friends! Celebrity Dog Walker, creator of such reviled/ignored/sometimes-a-little-bit-liked Broadway World topics such as "A Day in the Life of Walli!" and "Walli at the Beach." And for those of you wondering, let me tell you, my career is on fire. (See photo.) I have seen the Marty show, and I fully concur with the near-hospitalized classification. Towards the end of the first time I saw the show in SF, I had to take breaks from laughing. Brooks and Mary and Nicole have the

it is impossible to think of something to post other than 1) i am watching martin short on HBO right now and 2) i am in love with him well, i guess i could mention that the reading had the whole crowd in stitches! the comment afterwards was the general extreme facial and stomach pain resulting from two straight hours of belly laughs

re: Marc Shaiman All Over Da Place Mar 27 2005, 08:52:33 AM
Marc Shaiman can be seen in the opening of BEACHES tickling the ivories and engaging C C Bloom in banter, in cartoon form behind a shoddily rendered piano in SOUTH PARK: BIGGER LONGER AND UNCUT, pitching themes in BROADCAST NEWS, offering insights on BEHIND THE MUSIC, creating the original crowd responses to THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, wearing a beret in MONDO BEYONDO, conducting an instrument-less orchestra in THE ADDAMS FAMILY, composing A WINK AND A SMILE for the SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE sound

I don't think Marc's that poor - I saw him at his house yesterday and he was carrying a Messenger Bag

re: Donate to John Hill Mar 21 2005, 03:05:18 PM
what's all this talk about what ya'll know of John's work status? Unless you're an agent, and you're his agent, you don't know what pilots and projects he's working on, and he's certainly too kind and humble to do anything other than kid on himself...

re: Donate to John Hill Mar 21 2005, 02:43:47 PM
by the way TV Boy, I just have to ask, what exactly are we supposed to derive from the factoid that John Hill owns a Messenger Bag? Are you referring to his ancient green Abercombie number from which a dust cloud forms when you slap it? If so, I wouldn't exactly list the item as a must-have tote of 2005

re: Donate to John Hill Mar 20 2005, 11:12:59 PM
Okay kids, as one of John's wives, allow me to post.. First off, the Donate to John Hill fund is a total JOKE. Joke joke joke! As is the plan John and I hatched this weekend to dress up like Jerri Blank, walk to the West Village, and see if they will kick us out of Marc Jacobs when we start to try on clothing. So in advance to any Broadway Worlders who spot us in hot pink stirrup pants, belted Bedazzled sweatshirts and fanny packs: those ensembles will also be a joke. Again, the word's

re: Inside Hairspray-It's FANTASTIC!!! Mar 11 2005, 10:28:20 AM
hello nameless dot chorus dot boy, Jess, Marc's dogwalker, here, My two cents (and I've seen a few dozen HAIRSPRAYs in my time) is that I loved Marissa and dreaded having to watch someone new play the role, because who could compare, but now I love Carly's performance just as much. Judging by the laughs thet Jordan and Carly get, I don't stand alone in my opinion... I'm sure you know as an insider that Jordan and Carly are hysterically funny, lovely, thoughtful people, and they give th
