I just went to Hulu to watch last night's episode of THE NEW NORMAL. (Yes, I'm still watching it--that's a discussion for another thread). However, I noticed something I've never previously seen on Hulu: a message that this program "is intended for mature audiences only," and that I would need to sign in (either through Facebook or by creating an account) and verify my age in order to view the video.
Hmm...
Having now watched the episode, I'm not exactly sure what "mature content" was present, aside from the fact that--as usual--there was lots and lots of talk about being gay. I wonder if Hulu publishes similar warnings before GREY'S ANATOMY or SCANDAL or any of the numerous shows that depict actual simulated (heterosexual) sex, not just boys talking about other boys.
