Yes - I, too, remember being in total awe of Miss Harris, and her practically owning the entire show (well it was just them...). I remember the part she gets angry so vividly- it was incredible.

I believe she is a brilliant actress, even in the less than stellar roles such as "The Hiding Place". Does anyone remember in the 1970's when she did the tv series "The Family Holvak" with Glenn Ford? That has got to be in the vaults somewhere.

The only show I didn't like her in was "The Glass Menagerie". I don't fault her for it, it was very poor direction.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Miss Harris' A DOLL HOUSE opposite Christopher Plummer has been making the rounds on various various PBS channels. Along with titles from the Broadway Archive series, it's usually shown in NYC on Monday nights at 8 PM on Ch. 25 with a repeat during the week.

Is that the same Archive series released on DVD?

I've seen that A DOLL'S HOUSE here recently on TV. She's absolutely devastating in it.

Did find her ANASTASIA for Hallmark Hall of Fame on television in March 1967 (IMDB notable TV guest appearances.) Wish I could see it. Of course there is so much more information about the Romanovs available now, but I would like to see Julie Harris in this role.

The Haunting is one of the most frightening films ever made (and with practically NO special effects) the fear is all in your mind...her performance is riveting..I love her!

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

Redhot - when you start with source material written by Shirley Jackson, you've got a head-start! It's one of the very few horror flicks we own - very effective!

I got a chance to meet Miss Harris and went to the closing party of The Scent of the Roses....in Seattle Wash....I saw the play 5 times...The Greatest time I have ever had at a Theatre watching a pro at work!!!!I knew in my heart that I would never see this Legend again(she was already in her 70's)A few years later she would have a stroke and retire.....I adore this woman and thank the Heavens that I got to meet and watch my childhood idol perform on stage!!!!
