This infomercial is pure genius, and since we all love it so much here, I think it deserves its own thread.
The Cast
Mick Hastie - host, Australian, Magic Bullet salesman, loves party drinks and curry powder
Mimi Umidon - hostess and Mick's girlfriendpartner in crime, loves mangoes, raspberries, and chocolate-chocolate chip peppermint milkshakes. She is also somewhat annoyed by Mick's frivolous expenditure for curry power, "Curry power for everything."
Berman - party animal, shows up with a hangover, hates broccoli "Yuck, I hate broccoli", "Nobody eats like that...nobody"
Hazel - Strange, bespectacled woman in a bathrobe, never ashes her cigarette the entire infomercial, hates chopping up garlic
Wilma - party woman, could see herself using the Magic Bullet every day
Wilma's husband "Fred" - nachos are his favorite food "Those are mine!"
Ike - confounded guy, loves everything in his omelet, including cheese. "That's incredible!"
Ike's wife "Blondie" - apparently loves to grind coffee beans, could also see herself using the Magic Bullet every day

I hate this infomercial. I know infomercials are staged, but this one is horribly staged. The Magic Bullet is so small. You can only make one meal per person at a time.

Excuse Me, we are here to express our LOVE for the Magic Bullet, if you are here to talk about how you don't like it, you can make a thread for that, but here is not the place.
BAHAHHAHA I LOVE THIS INFOMERCIAL... oh god...
As much as I hate the commercial, I still love watching them make food. Does that count for anything?
I would buy one for myself actually...

Okay Millie, you are allowed back in, just because you can see yourself using it everyday
Color and Light- Can you post the lyrics to your song?
Oh, the Magic Bullet! Fantastic! ;]
This doesn't have to do with the Magic Bullet buuuuuut:
My cousin actually bought the Pasta Express!
.... such a terrible idea!
If you think about it, they have like 7 magic bullets, that would have cost them 700 dollars+ , rich f'rs.
Haha! It's like this tube where you put boiling water in it and then you put any kind of pasta in the water and put this top on it.
You have to leave the pasta in the thing for like 15 minutes, too!
The pasta was all sticky and it just tasted awful! =[
Damn, starch!

Well that is a dumb invention.
DefyingEDCT- If you think about it they must be rich, they have a house big enough for all those people, and they have nice counter tops. Also this comercial is quite controversial since Mike and Mimmi aren't married, why are they living together? But myabe since their house is so big, they each have their own rooms.
And when is it taking place? In the morning and where is everyone coming from? And true the house is big in itself, but if you think about it, its just those two living there, when they dont have company why would they need at least 3 magic bullets to themselves individually?
Ohh yes the pasta express. I never understood that.

I think they are all coming from their rooms. Obviously Berman the drunk came from his, and Hazel is still in her nightgown. They need numerous magic blenders so they can blend more that one thing at a time, the real question is why do they need such a big house?
I was about to type something that kinda made sense and kinda didn't. I'm too tired. I shouldn't be on here at 4 am.
This should be in the banal thread.
Continue.

Type it anyways, I am just as tired as you are, so it might make sense to me!
Okay I was gonna say the Magic Bullet is good for making quick meals for one person but not good for making quick meals for a whole family. But now that I think of it, if it really takes 10 seconds to mix something, then it can take a few minutes to create something for a larger family...
I don't know lol.

I am actually laughing out loud. Thank You, that really made my night.
By the way it wouldn't take a couple of minutes, because Mimmi promised me it would just take ten seconds, so that is like one minute for like a whole family. And thanksgiving, that must only take what ten minutes. There is an idea, a big one for a turkey!
The other infomercial I used to love is RONCO it hink it was called, SET IT AND FORGET IT!
This isn't regarding the Magic Bullet, but while we're on the subject of RONCO/"Set it and Forget It"...
I forgot which product it was (I think it was that oven thing), but does anyone remember when Ron would keep naming prices that the product wasn't (Not $400, not $300, not $200, not even $190...etc)? And then he would exclaim, "It's only 4 easy payments of $39.99!!!" And right before the applause, the whole screen would freeze and the dumb announcer would go, "No Ron! Now you can get it for only 3 easy payments of $39.99!!!" And then everything would resume again with the audience applause.
Remember Ronco pasta machine? Chocolate pasta mmm. Sounds good.
We have EXACTLY the same commercial here in Germany PLUS awesomly bad voice overs in German...
I LOVE IT!

JEALOUS!
Whatever happened to RONCO?
You should be jealous! It's quality TV, I tells ya!
I usually watch infomercials if I'm bored and it's early in the morning or late at night. I'm getting sick of all the weight loss ones though.
