I also think of those kinds of things too. What kind of a person just has all of the makings for an omlet arranged nicely on a platter?
I'm sorry, but Mimi is such a skank.

She is, but look at them on the cover of that box...they are so perfect for each other. They really need their own show.
On the infomercial for the Super Bullet they wore the same clothes!
But why is the box in German?
Heaven forbid...their own show!!!??? Maybe you can have that other informercial skank - Kathy as one of their guests.

Exactly. If you're going to provide me with the cut cheese squares, the cut vegetables and the other things, then surely, I will buy the magic bullet.
That lady that smokes seriously makes me mad and I have no idea why.
And then when they make frozen drinks and use those twist on different color lids- you'd think it was the best invention ever!
SweetQ, the way you can't stand that lady is the way I can't stand the guy who doesn't like broccoli. I have seen this infomercial way too many times!

My name is Over_the_Moon, and I am a Magic Bullet user.
I'd be happy to Q&A.

The lyrics to my Magic Bullet song from days of yore. It's pretty terrible.
It takes too long to chop your chicken
And mix your cookie batter
Your juicer doesn't do its job
I wish it were no matter
At parties, your poor mixed drinks
Are flavorless and bland.
Your fruit smoothies are utterly loathed
And your chicken salad panned.
Well, my friend, you are in luck today
Jump for joy and click your heels!
We're bringing you a product
That ellicits happy squeals!
It does it all in seconds
It chops, grates, whips and beats!
From high class dinners and lunches
To vegetables and treats!
Magic bullet, I don't know how you do it.
Salsa in three seconds.
Nacho cheese in four.
When cooking up a dinner
I couldn't ask for more.
Before my dinners were lonely
And never anyone fun.
Who wants a three-minute omelet,
When you can have it one?
And with your trusty fan blade,
You became a baker's dream.
You can whip up a mean chocolate mousse,
With cocoa powder and cream!
At this point, I gave up.

Wow that song should win a Grammy!
shiksa_goddess- That picture is AMAZING.
The Magic Bullet infomercial is on my TV now!
Millie, the question is, when is it NOT on TV!!
I am a happy owner of the Magic Bullet. I use it quite often actually.
As for the infomercial, I'd like a copy of it on DVD. I haven't seen it on in a while, although I don't want late night TV too often.
I went through a stretch where I would make a smoothy every morning before work with it. I have to admit though I replaced that with an actual smooth machine because it came out better.
They are great for single serving milkshakes. I also occasionally make salsas and pesto type sauces with it.
It really does work best if you are preparing a meal for one or two people and frankly it doesn't do anything that you can't do with other typical appliances around your house - blender, food processor etc - but it's a nice and easy thing to have.
I picked it up for $40.00 at a department store clearance sale. :)

I guessed that this infomercial would be on the Fox Network at 4 AM...and it was! I'm watching it right now. Ahh, isn't it amazing.

Maybe I just have a dirty mind, but when I read the thread title, I definitely didn't think this was about the "personal, versatile counter top magician" lmao
I've always been curious about how well the MB actually works. The one thing that irritates me most about it is when they make the omelet.... basically, all the ingredients are all blended/whipped together, as opposed to there being pieces and lots of cheesy goodness. How tasty could it possibly be?

I agree with this post:
"Heres a thought. Sure it may take 10 seconds to GRIND these items, but what about prep time? to cut the cheese into those squares, to cut the vegetables .. and as she states during the pasta sause demonstration "And you never dirty a single plate or pan" but what about boiling that pasta? Was it just laying around and you didnt have to boil it? I dont know, Im skeptical."
You're doing a lot more work that they don't show. They have the cheese and vegetables pre-cut to put in the magic-bullet. You don't.
I have a Magic Bullet here at home, and it does work very well! Oh, I mean the blender
God I love this informercial! It's HILARIOUS! The acting is HORRENDOUS!
Oh, so good.
I keep debating whether I should buy one, but I know I wouldn't actually use it. You have to keep food around in order to cook it... And I always forget that part.
Also, I have a feeling that it's exremely loud in real life.
FF - It's not loud, but its not quiet.
