I loved the scene a few weeks ago between Jim and Pam, when Jim chided Pam for not applying for the graphic design program…he told her she was afraid to take risks, and she shot back (unconvincingly) with “I’m okay with my choices.” It isn’t about Roy at all; it’s about Pam being afraid to jump in and make some changes in her life. That’s so much more interesting than Pam and Jim hooking up (which probably would have happened by now on any other sitcom).
I loved Meredith prepping her Big Gulp in the kitchen.
Mabel, my favorites were the random shots of Meredith in the background, pulling herself away from the Big Gulp to drunkenly glare at Phyllis and her Valentine’s gifts...hysterical.

I absolutely love this show. I've been saying "Great Scott" all day long. I REALLY want a Dwight bobblehead. They should sell them.
I see what you're saying, NCGuy about Pam and her graphic arts internship. Though, I certainly don't think what Roy said (I don't remember exactly) helped matters. Pam's definitely got issues with jumping out there and making a change in her life (which makes her comment from the very first episode "I don't think it's many little girls dreams to be a receptionist," all that much sadder). I don't know.
As much as I want Pam and Jim to get together, I really don't want them to get together. The Jim/Pam saga is one of my favorite parts of the show, and it'd be a definite downer if they actually were together at this stage of the game. I just wish they'd throw Roy a bone every now and then, so that there was some hint of something in him that would make us understand why Pam was with him (other than just her own insecurity about moving on, which is obviously a HUGE part of it...I just don't think it can be all of it, you know?).

I think you’re right, Mabel…I am oversimplifying it (I also think I’m projecting just a little too much of my own crap onto Pam's character…
).
On a different note, did you hear Ricky Gervais is writing an episode? I’m not sure when it’s supposed to air (this season ends in March, though, so maybe next year).
I did see that...I wonder if it will be sometime in March. Aren't they taking a hiatus until after the Olympics (coming back sometime in early March)?? I wonder how many episodes there will be after they come back? Should be interesting though, whenever the Gervais episode airs!!

All NBC prime time shows are on hiatus until after the Olympics
But when they come back, how long will they come back for? I have to admit, that I never really paid a whole lot of attention to when seasons end. Will there only be 3-4 episodes left (running through March)?
According to TV.com, the next new episode airs Mar 2, with new episodes every week until the season finale on Mar 30th (so five episodes left).

Pam and Jim will probably get together in the last season or series finale. it does keep the show very interesting with all the sexual tension between them, even though they are great friends.
whenever the show ends (which i hope is not for a LONG time), that would be a good way to end it, with pam and jim somehow together.

Every week I am amazed by the writing and acting. I freaking love this show!
Ahhh, Michael, Jim, Pam, Dwight, and Co...how I've missed you!!!
I love Kelly: "Well, that's just karma coming around after what he did to Jennifer Aniston."
And after several weeks, here I go again: "Awwwwww, Jim." And, "You're killing me, Pam!"

Did anyone catch Jenna Fischer on Conan tonight? Absolutely gorgeous and charming - much more glamorous in person than she looks on the show. She even told stories about how people who claim to be huge fans of the show don't recognize her in real life.
Ah! I love this show. Put me in the Pam/Jim boat, although I love them all.
And hwo could you not love Jim, though? So cute!
Dwight pushes it with me, though. His sycophant routine is old.
Jim is missing the wedding!?!? Ouch. Ouch, ouch, ouch.

I was so glad to see the show back. Pefectly cast, amazing writing, and consistantly hysterical.
Poor poor Jim.

I love this show! I haven't been so excited about a sitcom in ages. I also hope this will last for a long time. They deserve it!
