Yay knob! I also love the word perifluous It's so much fun to say! (Sorry I'm really hyper now.)
I was reading David Sedaris's book "Naked" this morning and came across the word "kids". I had to think about that word for about ten seconds before realizing what it meant. "Kids" is a weird word.

Patty, I LOVE Cabaret! Nice avatar and welcome.
My favorite wierd word is discombobulated.
I use that word all the time, Nia, and nobody ever knows what the heck I'm talking about. My favorite word is "hobbledehoy."
I don't have a favorite word. Hmmm......I should think about it.

Rock on, Delph. We seem to be a lot alike, now that I think about it...
I know you mentioned 'hobbledehoy' before, but what does it meant again? And Monkey, we'll find a word for you.
Yes, I'm sure I have mentioned it before. It's a young, gawky, loser boy that all the girl's point and laugh at. Quite a useful term, I must say.
You're right- we do have quite a bit in common, dear. The power of the messageboards to unite such kindred spirits- I am amazed, and know not what to say.
And Monkers, we'll get you something.

How about RHINOTILLEXOMANIA, the habitual or obsessive nose-picking?
"I am amazed, and know not what to say."
A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM! I called it first! YES! YES! Go me!
Congrats! Exactly! I just couldn't resist! Poogly, isn't it? (Not really, but I wanted to use that word.)
Heeheeheeheeheehee......my knowledge of the Bard kicks ASS!
That it does. My knowledge of Victor Hugo kicks a little bit of ass, so to speak.
