Stacey717 ~~~ have hockeylag
Posted On:1/7/05 at 04:19:27 PM
I feel like I have jetlag from ice hockey's morning practices this week (especially because of last night's off ice and this morning's on ice)-- ANd last night I couldn't fall asleep until after 12am. Which kinda is annoying when you have to wake up at 4.40 at the latest (I managed to accidentally steal a few extra minutes by accidentally falling back asleep til 50 after.)
When we came back from Japan the first time, the next day I had school and it's impossible to adjust overnight (of course). Stupidly I ended up falling asleep at 5.30 in the afternoons that week and took naps then for a few hours--it took longer than it usually does for me to readjust because of that foolishness. Word to the wise: resisting the urge to nap is a lot easier i the long run. Heh.
I was up and out of the house before this thread started to take off this morning and it really did take off!
Anyways, lipsyncing. Thanks TONS for mentioning the fact that one should sing along to the music--it does make it look believable (I agree, sadly POTO was pretty awful in this dept)... I'll definitely need to ask my actors to sing wth their recordings for my musical short. Hopefully they'll be able to-- I almost wasn't going to, and now I realize I will/must (or I'd be upset at the fakeness)
As for the audio good editor/sound editor should be able to aid in the matching of the mike differences as far as on set or in studio...
I had a question just now and in my brain's numbness at the moment it left *I'll remember...I hope*
Thanks again for the updates and question answering at the like...

Not the original question, but a question

This may seem arbitrary, it kinda is (unless you look back to the recent discussion and I can kinda track my thought process) but I managed a thought besides the thought that I need a nap right now :)
This, of course, need not be replied to especially because it is kind of random *Sorry if the questions are too unnecessary, everyone*
Anthony, obviously you were in Princeton shooting A Beautiful Mind: did you like here?
I'm personally convinced the town is our own little ecosystem bubble... I can't imagine growing up anywhere else, lol, in a good way (It's kinda hard to explain though, but if one knows what I mean with 'our own bubble', they know... *which probably makes no sense anyway*)
And if you don't mind my asking, where *did* the studio set up for you all to stay?
I'm just curious as to where they would put everyone, I would be inclined not to think actually in town due to the amount of people that'd need space, but possibly just off a part of the U campus... (it is very large when actually looked at all aspects of...easy to get very lost if you're not sure where you're going...especially in the dark)
*curiousity is rather peculiar*
Thanks again for updates and question-answering and information and everything : )
(And to every board member always putting up with my long posts and, at times, random questions)
Last even more random thought! Yay for tired arbitrarity!
I finally get to see Avenue Q tomorrow!
ETA: Everyone: I just looked on the page ad saw how long these two posts were, so I wanted to say sorry-- forgive me as my judgement is a little off right now
*I'm gonna go take a nap and retrieve it*
