CAM! GO!! We'll be around when you get back! (Who are we kidding.)
Ellie, yeah, you were wrong. I emailed ticketmaster.co.uk, and they said my tickets were printed on Jan 10 and are usually mailed within 48 hours of then, so I should get them within the next 2 weeks (I hope). *sigh* eBay UK should be useful - I hope I can sell them at higher than face value so at least I can make a wee bit of a profit off it!
yo, Chil'un, i am here!

Oh, good! At least you'll get the money back...but still...are you disappointed? Are you crushed? Are you devastated? Have you learned a valuable lesson? Do you blame me for gently pushing you into it? And are you sure you won't be there? Imagine if you sell the tickets, and your aunt says 'Actually, Tiff...'
TIFF! YOU. ARE. NOT. GOING. TO. LONDON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!
that totally sucks so much! omg!

Ellie, Docs Rock! What are yours? I've got ten eyelet black ones.
Tiff, I'm so sorry- tell her you got tickets, maybe she'll think it's such a good idea that she'll want to change your plans and join you for the show. Maybe.
Tiff.
you can always give the tickets to me.
Nia- yes, i'm a guy. crazy, no?
At least you'll get the money back...but still...are you disappointed?
Extremely.
Are you crushed?
Mm-hmm.
Are you devastated?
Doesn't even begin to describe it.
Have you learned a valuable lesson?
Yeah. If I want to get what I want, I'd better be willing to pay for my whole goddamn trip myself!
Do you blame me for gently pushing you into it?
Not yet. Maybe if I can't resell them on eBay, then we'll talk.
And are you sure you won't be there?
Not quite yet. I'm going to give it one final push. Here's the thing - if I insist on doing roundtrip from London, she'll want to forego the France trip and instead do a trip exploring Britain and maybe Ireland, which I'm sure are lovely, but frankly I'd rather do France than Ireland. So it's a choice between doing a crappier tour (it's not even an exciting England/Ireland tour - it's one that explores "Country Roads and Stately Homes"!! UGH!) and seeing Guys and Dolls, or getting to explore France.
Imagine if you sell the tickets, and your aunt says 'Actually, Tiff...'
Then someone will have to come find my body after I hang myself. Actually, I'm not going to sell the tickets until we've booked and paid for our flights and tours, so that better not happen. I would really cry if it did.
i'm going to Irleand this summer, it looks like a lotta fun. just hang out on Temple Road (where all the bars are) i would not pass up this trip.

Or maybe she'll give you a good hard clip 'round the eats, and tell you that you should know better.
Nia, they're blue, they're suede, and they're fabulous. That's all I know.
CQ, I'm still going to London, just that my aunt wants to do our extra days in London (mid/end of April) instead of finish in London (mid/end of May), so I'll be there earlier than Guys And Dolls! *waaaah*
Som, I'm trying to convince her that I got them free and that they're worth a few hundred dollars. It shouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility because a) I've got rich friends who really would pay that much for me if I asked them to and it was a special occasion; b) since I'm a theatre critic I usually see shows for free. To the point where I HATE buying tickets because..well...WHY??
BTW, SUCKS that you're not seeing the tour! I'm crushed for you! (Oh, and cryptically, et-gay onto-ay AIM-ay and-ay I'll-ay (what's with all the vowels??) end-say ou-yay OSG-ay om-fray e-thay ent-Ray our-tay! ou-Yay ove-lay e-may, ight-ray?

Go find a picture for me on shoebuy.com, Ellie. I wanna see.
CQ, you're not my type. Sorry.
Tiff, talk to your aunt before you sell 'em, you might be able to swing something.
i'm free!! YAAAY!

Oh good, no hard feelings!
Guess what? *bounces* My mother said that IF the weather isn't too bad and IF she feels up to it and IF we have no other conflicts, she will take me to Rent in Cincy for the rushline!!
This is all subject to change, but apparently I played my cards right this time. There's a chance!!
you know i've never seen Rent or heard any songs past number 13. strange, huh?

Ireland could be fun...did you catch my Gaelic lesson earlier? Hmmm, Dublin's not Paris though. But it does have all kind of public houses that sell all kinds of alcholic beverages, so you could do all kinds of drowning your sorrows about missing France. And France will always be there, G&D won't.
*goes to look up shoebuy.com*
the Irish are ALWAYS drunk, you'll have a great time, Tiff. I can tell!! *tee-hee!*
