Well, he thinks you're mad at him 'cos of a thread he started, and I'm still not too clear if you actually are, or if it's just your warped humor gone awry...so in essence, he's decided there's no BWW without his wifey, so he's upped and left. And if he can be convinced that you're not really mad, he may come back.
