I don't remeber who it was...their name was something about liking theater. aha. and what happened was, Anthony asked where in Illinois do I live, since he's from IL too. And I was like, Anthony! I'm not telling where I live on a message board like this, or something. So yah, then he was like, oh sorry I wasn't thinking. being from IL...or something like that. SO then I felt horrible! And I pmed anthony and told him where I live, and he said, that's sort of by this place, right? And I didn't really know! So I said, sort of, it's pretty far away... and then I was looking on Mapquest and I found out it's like 45 miles away, but then he didn't pm me back so now he just thinks I'm a fool.

Haha! That's funny- kinda far away- 45 miles! But don't fret, I've done worse. I once told an actor (whom I really liked) that he was quite the bitchy queen. I meant it as a compliment, and he took it as one too! (Score!) So Anth probably doesn't think you're dumb; he just doesn't have a lot of time to PM people back. Don't worry about what you say to him because I think he understands.

i didn't pm him because i didn't really have anything to say. but now i'm hesitant to go on either of those boards because it's become an immature flame war and a fawning lovefest at the same time, and it reflects badly on everyone who calls themselves rent fans. (present company not included)

That's why I've been avoiding it. It's really crazy and disorganized over on those two threads. It's become less of an opportunity to find out more about Rent from one of its castmembers and more of a gushing, fangirly brown-noser convention. It's not my perogative to get caught up in that mess and I'm sure Anthony has no problem with me staying far away.

too bad too because i'm a big fan of anthony;s work and i'd like to ask him some non-rent-related questions, and I'm sure he'd respond because he's been good about answering all the questions, but just...why jump into that fray? kinda bummed about it though.
