My friend met Hanson when they were huge. She was just in a random restaurant or something and they just happened to be there. For some reason, maroon 5 is on my iPod. There music isn't too awful.
I saw them in July for $20 in a smaller venue and they were great live. Now, it's been almost a year since their CD came out, there isn't much new material, they're surfing on their Grammy win and playing arenas for triple the price for the exact...same...music.
Come out with something new! Please! (I'm sick of Songs About Jane being aired to death!)

LittleFish--why?
And I am SOOOOOO tired of the same songs being played over and over again, (That song by that somewhat whiny R&B singer-Girl, this I wannnnnnnnt or something, Ryan freaking cabrera, and blvd of broken dreams).
Because she's my little sis/cuz combo, Ebby! She's doomed for sure!
You know, I like Green Day as much as the next person, but I'm tres sick of Blvd of Broken Dreams now. NO MORE! When the R&B/hip-hop stations are playing Green Day (no joke), THEY'RE OVEREXPOSED.
Ok, I was at this concert for premiere musical pieces, and so this is the first time the world is hearing them
We are about 11 minutes into the second piece, and this one is mostly made up of this awesome girl playing a series of flute solos. I mean the girl was amazing---I have never seen anything like her. We are at this beautiful part, a perfect quiet, hushed solo, and in the middle of this beautifulness, the conductor signals for the tuba player to enter in with this quick, flatulent tuba sound.
It was completely random and out of place, and took the focus right off the girl, not to mention it sounded like a giant fart. And I kept telling myself, "You are a mature adult, and that wasn't funny." But then he did it again. And pretty soon my friend Chuck and I were in painful, silent hysterics. The kind that you cannot control and cannot stop for the life if you. I tried everything to stop, but everytime I got myself under control, he would laugh and I would start up again.
The composer of this piece was sitting right behind us, and I am almost positive the entire hall heard us. We left at intermission.

True. I don't even like Greenday, and I used to like that song, but now I'm tired of it. Another thing I don't like is people who are suddenly like "OMG LYKE GREENDAY IS AMAZING AHHHHH!!" and they don't know any other song besides that one.
The best Green Day was definitely pre-American Idiot, although this CD is definitely listenible. -able? -eble?
Fishie, you are so going to hell, but I was giggling reading that. There was this one time I cracked up at a funeral. Not cool, apparently. Good food afterwards though.
Oh thats even worse! Alright, back to the monologue-ing!

A monologue from The Woolgatherer. Its a really good play, and I have to perform it tomorrow for my acting class. For some reason, it is taking me FOREVER to learn. I don't really know why that is.

Hmmmm. Honestly, type it out here. Writing (or typing) it out a few times helps.
You really want me to type it out on here? Because I will...
IS it memorizing it that's the problem or acting it?
Memorizing, I am going to type it up a couple times in Word. I have no trouble acting it.
bonjour. comme ca va?
comme-ci, comme-ca. Je suis tres fatique maintenant. Et toi?
If it's memorizing, I think some people on other threads recommended reciting it into a tape recorder and listening to it over and over again.
