Yup. Good ole time and a half. It didn't really bother me all that much. I work at the local mall, and they close at six, so there's still plenty of time to BBQ and all that.

It just makes me laugh because the costomers kept saying, "Oh, its such a shame the mall is open, and you have to work today." Um.... Yeah. You're here, at the mall, and I'm here because of you. Ha Ha.

"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert

I know how you feel. I work at a supermarket and people were saying the same thing!

This is the first 4th of July (or holiday at all) that I haven't worked in several years. And it's also the first 4th of July in years that I really had nothing better to do and wouldn't have minded going into work.

I didn't have any plans today so working an eight hour shift gave me a purpose and a hefty boost to my paycheck! For some reason I'm not really feeling the Forth of July spirit this year. I didn't even watch the fireworks on TV.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel.

It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known.
