yup, this thread is about nothing.......
Like for instance, you know what irks me? People who play "air" guitar or air anything, that do not play REAL guitar. They look so stupid!
I could totally see this as a Seinfeld episode:
George walks in Jerry's playing air guitar.
Jerry stares and finally says,
"Wh-What are you doing?"
"Playing air guitar. Why?"
"You can't play air guitar!"
"Why? What can't I play air guitar?"
"Because you don't play REAL guitar!"
"Oh, that doesn't matter."
"Yes, yes it does. You must master something REAL in your life before you start PRETENDING it."
and yada yada yada, Elaine sleeps with some new guy and Roll Credits..........

Picture that a bunch of people meet on a message board, and finally meet up to go out for dinner, but keep 'typing' into the air - kind of playing Air Laptop - because they're so used to communicating that way...
Could you imagine?

So, what's everyone's story about nothing.
Like, here's another one from me.
I have a cat that's very aggressively playful. I love her to death. But she wraps around my arm with all fours, (thank God she's declawed on the fronts) grabs one of my knuckles in her mouth, clamps down and then jerks her head sideways back and forth. I think the instinct is taking over and she feels the joint in my finger, thinks she has a critter by the neck, and then whips her head back and forth trying to snap its neck!
I laugh about it until I realize, MY CAT JUST TRIED TO KILL ME!

Posted: 10/1/04 at 10:21pmI am a pianist and I sometimes find myself playing "tabletop keyboards". Sometimes when I'm at a restaurant waiting for my food to arrive and there is music playing, I'll play along!
