TCM is officially my favorite channel.
They're really getting into the obscure/brilliant genres now... not just the Fred & Ginger flicks (nothing wrong with those!!)... but they have branched all over the world (literally) in seeking out rare gems... cult favorites... pulled carefully out of the "forgotten vaults."
And they do it with such understated class and even a hip reverence.
So very cool... and so very much appreciated!
The TCM Underground site is pretty cool. Lots of pics and clips from the movies they're showing as part of that showcase.

The Private Screenings episode with Lauren Bacall is on tonight following Key Largo (which starts at midnight). I've never seen it, so I'm looking forward to checking it out.
The interview she did with David Frost on A&E several years ago was a joy to watch.
At 2:30 EST my favorite holiday film, Meet Me In St. Louis is being aired - and me with this plasma tv.
Part of the fun of this film is watching Minnelli "court" Garland with lighting and costume.
The Goddess is on tomorrow at 10:00am. I’ve never actually seen Kim Stanley in anything…excited to finally see this.
Also, there’s a nice Teresa Wright double feature tonight at midnight, The Little Foxes and Pride of the Yankees.
