Kevin Kline
Tommy Lee Jones
Robin Williams
John C. Reily
Woody Harrelson
Virginia Madsen
Lindsay Lohan
Garrison Keillor
and
Maya Rudolph
Just imagine lunch on that set!!
Can't wait to see it! I'm a huge Robert Altman fan, and this looks to be one of his best in years.
However, the Robin Williams in the cast isn't the Robin Williams you're thinking of.

I'm suddenly in the mood for some Beebob-a-roobob Rhubarb Pie and Powder Milk Biscuits.
Then too bad it's not Robbie Williams.
I can't wait to see this.
Meryl-Lily-Altman = a match made in heaven.
See, and I'm most excited about the prospect of Garrison Keillor. I always listened to A Prairie Home Companion growing up and even got to see him do a live broadcast of it at the State Fair last year.
Of course, I am aware this makes me a huge dork.
I've never listened to Garrison Keillor.
It's taken Robert, Meryl and Lily to bring me to him.
This Thursday night - HBO First Look.
I always hate seeing those "first looks" until I have had MY first look. They always give things away and spoil it. I'll tivo it for later, though!
I can't wait to see this movie, it looks fabulous.
I hear you but this Meryl/Lily fix can't get here soon enough for me. :)
Darn it, I just realized the Goldman Sachs event is that night and I don't have tivo. Sueleen will you tell me all about it? LOL!
From the commercials it looks as if Meryl might say goodbye to Katie Couric this morning.
Tomorrow night - HBO - First Look.
I enjoyed listening to APHC when I was living in the States, and have been able to see a couple of shows live, one of them at Radio City Music Hall. I'm looking forward to seeing this, especially Kevin Kline's take on Guy Noir (normally played in the real radio show by Garrison Keillor).
BTW, the Robin Williams in the cast is part of a country music duo -- Robin and Linda Williams -- who have been on the radio show numerous times over the years.

Altman and Keillor were on the Charlie Rose Show last night (with a substitute host). He asked them to describe the movie. Altman said, "It's a meditation on death". Keillor said, "It's a light comedy".
LOL!
Can't wait for June 9.
It promises to be great fun. Ah, the joys of ketchup brought to the silver screen. Not only am I a geek, but I'm a midwestern geek as well.
I hate to admit that I know zip about APHC.
I'm just excited for an hour or so of the silver screen's finest.
Glebb, some weekend just point the car north and drive for about 5 hours - you will be able to live APHC rather than listen to it :)
But a chic geek, you must be, BT...
I see this the following Sunday... High anticipation...
Soon.
I hope to make it Friday night or Saturday.
Anyone else going this weekend?
I hope so! My theatre is getting it Friday. Such excitement.
The radio show is to die for. Absolutely wonderful show.
For those interested, here's a clip of Lohan singing (quite well, I might add) her own, personal version of "Frankie and Johnny"...

I'm with Kitzarina on being more excited for this because of Garrison Keillor than any of the all-star cast.

If Meryl and Lily at the Oscars this year (just about the only thing I actually enjoyed) are any indicatation of what we can expect, I'm going to love this - and I don't usually resonate with Altman.
