^YES. ugg. Honestly, I love Kris, I really do. And it probably would NOT have been thaat much of a disappointment this year except that I was SO spoiled with Cook and Season 7! That winning moment was just.. the most epic winning moment ever. SO special, so emotional, and it was the first time that someone I reaaally really wanted to win actually won. I know it's just a TV show and all, but still- Cook winning made me so happy hehe. It was just like.. perfect. The person who most deserved to win actually won.

With this year, Kris did an amazing job on the show, but based on sheer talent, charisma, and star quality Adam DESERVED to win. And I'd just gotten too spoiled from last year, so I was like "... This is so bleh. I'm happy for Kris, but it's such a let down after the amazingness that was Cook winning last year".


But anyway, enough of that because it really doesn't matter in the long run! Adam is doing INCREDIBLY well and he's gonna be a superstar! hehe

And I was privileged to hear a track that the guys have finished for Adam Lambert ? a song for a forthcoming film, 2012. I have to say I was completely blown away ? it?s truly sensational. In fact it?s so obviously a number one smash, any bookie would be mad to take bets on it. I am not kidding. I?m not easily moved to jelly by male vocalists ? but Adam?s voice reaches out with sensitivity, depth, maturity, and awesome range and power which will make jaws drop all around the world. Its an awesome performance. No doubt about it. The world of Rock has a bright new star.

I had a really fun time at David's concert!!! Yay for free tickets, no-yay for the person who bailed out on David and gave my Dad the tickets. That dude missed out on a seriously awesome concert. How does David sing so freaking well?!?!?! He was on fire! The music was great, he was into it, he was really interactive...what more could you ask for?

This is actually David's second time coming to Knoxville, but the first time...he came to this tiny venue


And this time...he came to this beautiful theatre (my favorite one it town).


It just so happened to be his 100th performance, so the audience all got free shirts that said "I Was at David Cook's 100th Show".

It was a fun night, and the audience (myself included) stood up the ENTIRE time(I was tired when I got home). Here are some videos.

I'm really looking forward to a tour. He's gonna put on a killer show!

I went to the Idols tour last niiiight

Holy freaking lord, the man is a BEAST. In the best possible way. Obviously the voice is out of this world, but that's kind of a given at this point. But he's just so INSANELY hot and captivating! I mean it does pretty much come across in videos too, but.. you have to see him live to FULLY get it I think.

You have to see him do THIS



right in front of your eyes, to feel his full effect. On screen it may come across as over the top (and it is), but in person? HOT FREAKING DAMN. haha


And then he turns around and is completely ADORABLE during the parts where he's just talking or whatever And he and Allison are basically the cutest ever together. Total smiles and giggles throughout the ENTIRE Slow Ride performance <3 I love them so much.


A few other non-Adam notes just because:

- Scott sounds significantly better live than on TV, even though I'm still not a fan

- Matt is AMAZING. Like.. seriously kick ass. And that boy can play piano like WOAH

- About halfway through, I somehow found myself.. getting into and enjoying Danny's set. NO idea how that happened, it took me completely by surprise. I mean I still wouldn't call myself a FAN fan, but.. I enjoyed him. Which is totally new O-o

- Allison and Kris ROCK. Hard core. I love them so much. And even though Kris has the title, I can't help but feel he's still pretty underrated. Probably just because he's sooo laid back and chill, sometimes it's hard to overlook just how good he actually is at what he does. I still think Adam deserved to win, but Kris deserves more credit than he tends to get. Adam is epic and captivating and I'd go to his solo concert in a HEARTBEAT, but Kris is fantastic too, and I'd go to HIS concert in a heartbeat as well because I love his style and he's adorable!
