^nah, I figured the buses wouldn't really be worth it haha. From what I've heard they get REALLY super crazy, and when it's like that it's silly to even do it. It would have been fun to go out to the buses earlier in the day and meet people (not Adam though because he rarely ever does the pre-show buses), but I went with my mom and she had stuff to do and didn't want to go that early.
So I didn't get to meet anyone, but it was still an awesome night!

MrLaBryFYP@adamlambert good morning handsome...wish u were in bed with me :)

Some people were saying Drake took it too far and that it was inappropriate. Sorry, nope, I think it was just plain adorable and sweet! I guess things have gotten purty serious between them :P
This needs bumping to page one again. Adam!
Adam news. Hmm, Amazon UK is listing Dec 7 as the release date over there. No release date yet for here. This interview is adorable, he's so intelligent in interviews. He looks like a kid on Christmas when the interviewer mentions Brian May's blog about the 2012 song. I can't wait for that song.

And Rollingstone.com has on the road photos.

Although with Jordin's crappy Battlefield song and the Kelly fiasco with Ryan Tedder, I want Ryan Tedder to stay far away from Adam.

^Yeahh, I love that interview just because his face when Brian May is mentioned is SO precious!
Speaking of precious, THIS may be the cutest Adam interview yet, simply because.. he looks so freaking ADORABLE!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ml3P6NjaHnA
The interviewer is not so good (super boring, old questions), but he's just so cute it doesn't even matter :P How someone can be so sexy on stage one minute, and then turn around and have this personality like an insanely adorable, innocent little boy the next minute is beyond me *sigh*
It's like when he wants to he can rival Kris any day in the "precious and wholesome" department, but then he can also turn around and Adam Lambert, sex god. It's craziness!
And yes, he really is SO intelligent and articulate in interviews. And he has this way of making it feel like it's just him and the interview, having this pleasant little chat. It almost never seems awkward (unless the interviewer is just sooo awkward that even Adam can't salvage it haha) or forced at all :) It's so funny though, watching him in interviews and then reading his twitter. Because his tweets tend to be REALLY adorably ditzy and terrible in the spelling and grammar department! teehee. You would NEVER think someone who tweets the way he does would be so well spoken.
I really can't wait for Adam's music, he has the voice and he definitely has the right producers...only hesitation I have is that it's happening so quickly that it might not be as great as it could be.
They have to make it happen quickly. Strike while the iron is hot and all that.

Yup! I'm not so worried about the time thing- I mean, David Cook churned out a record super quick and it's extremely solid and a wonderful listen imo :)
If anything I'm just slightly nervous at the fact that Adam's taste doesn't always seem to match up to my taste, musically. If he goes the Muse/Sam Sparro/classic glam rock route then I will be SO happy! I just hope he doesn't go toooo dancy and Lady GaGa-esque on me, because that sound I'm not so much into.
Basically, as much as I acknowledge that something like Kiss and Tell would probably be a hit, I don't personally love that sound so I'm really hoping he won't go back to it.
I have faith that it'll be great though :) I'm all for the more new age, electronic sound, there just needs to be some really solid, soulful melodies underneath and I'll be happy!
I just know Adam also tends to like really dancy, electronic, more beat-driven music. And I'm not always into that when there's no good melody underneath. But I trust him! He never disappointed me on the show, so I'm not going to expect him to disappoint me now :)
I love that interview too, he looks young, happy and healthy.
I think there will be a little of everything on the album. He's a smart guy, knows he needs to keep the 'Mad World' fans and the Zepplin fans and the 'Kiss and Tell' fans all happy.
I just hope he stays away from Autotune, leave that for the people who can't sing.

The sad and pathetic people from Westboro Baptist Church were protesting at the concert last night, so all the fans on twitter got #Godhateshate to trend the whole night <3
I know it's best just to ignore them, but they even posted a video of the protesting and it was freaking infuriating (as they always are), so I was happy to help retaliate
Yeah, I do think the positive thing about American Idol now is that its incredible exposure. Song writers/producers flock to them and give them a great choice.
Previously with all incarnations of the show, it was a case of winning - singing a couple of songs that were previously picked that lent themselves to any winner. So much better when they take time out to tailor it to the artist.
From the sound of it, I'm going to love Adams music. I love electro pop/glam rock/dance/his ballads. In some respects he could be the male Lady GaGa, the theatrical experience of it all and the homage to the 70's/80's...but I feel his music will be far less pop, I don't imagine him coming out with a 'Poker Face' for example.
I hope they work together, though.
Max Martin flying from Sweden to work with Adam is a good sign. He's written many hits and a few crappy songs, but he's in demand which means RCA coughed up some cash. The debut post-idol cds are never groundbreaking, they push them out so quickly, but I am hopeful there will be a handful of hits and that will be enough to get him a second cd.
And the 2012 song, I can't wait to hear that.
And music videos? yes, please. I need to see those, yesterday!
ETA: I know Max Martin didn't specifically come to NY to work with Adam, he was also working with Leona Lewis and Carrie Underwood that week. But he's still a pretty big name for Adam to work with.

It needs to just be November NOW :)
I'm going to be spending sooo much money on music that month! Adam, Kris, AND Allison! And I feel like there's some other exciting stuff happening music wise in November too but I'm forgetting what haha..
But yeah, November, get hereee!
Also, LOL at the other idols trending #adamfarted! They're such dorks! :P
I hear ya, I'm going to start an Adam fund to stash money away in. Because you know the UK release will have an extra song than the US release and maybe a Japanese release with a different track.
Man, I'm going to be really broke!
Maybe the 2012 song will release soon so we have something until the first official single!

"Maybe the 2012 song will release soon so we have something until the first official single"
Oooooooh yeah!
I was thinking back on a discussion I had a while ago (before AI) about the possibility of a WWRY movie, and after cringing again at the idea - there was only one man who cropped up in my head that could save the sinking ship and make it bearable.
...and considering he's chums with Queen now, who knows...

Meatloaf is gushing again!

Must be the 2012 song. I am so excited to hear it.
"I'm in the middle of a record now with a Rob Cavallo, who is like the god of producers at the moment. He's doing an Adam Lambert track, and I'm going over to meet Adam. Adam Lambert [of "American Idol" fame] is the only singer that I've ever thought was amazing. I think there have been great singers, you know, Freddie Mercury, Steven Tyler, you know, a lot of great rock singers. Michael Jackson was one, but Adam Lambert is one I haven't been awestruck with since [Janis] Joplin in the '60s. I don't think anybody actually comprehends how good this guy is. I mean, I downloaded everything he did for "American Idol." I'm like this Adam Lambert groupie."

That is adorable, Meatloaf. I would even consider the idea of never calling you Bitchtits again.*

Look, it's official!

So basically ALL of the boy Idols except for Danny are sick right now But Kris is the worst and he couldn't even perform last night (poor thing).
But it was so cute because for the Don't Stop Believin' finale, Adam came up and did his AND Kris's parts, and when he did Kris's parts he sounded exactly like Kris! Maaybe it's just that when he gets down into that lower register he and Kris sound a little alike anyway, but I like to think it was a purposeful homage to him hehe.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbMyIEExL8o
It's sad though, seeing him come up all alone They have a day off today, which is REALLY great and hopefully they can all rest up really well and be much better tomorrow! It's seriously crazy. ALL of the boys, minus Danny, are super sick. It seems like maybe it's swine flu. I'm really wondering though how in the heck Danny managed not to catch it!! haha

The first Daughtry CD came out quickly as well, and it's sold over 5 million copies worldwide. Go figure!
