Definitely disturbing, Alex. Yesterday, an underclassman said he planned to bomb the school as a joke, and he's suspended as well.

Everyone's on the alert anyway because it's 4-20 tomorrow. There are two colleges next to my school, and the police are all over the place - you can tell they're just dying to make a bust or crash celebration parties.

I loved those Rent set pics. Nothing like freezing cold lower Manhattan.

I'm laughing about the restroom picture - maybe there's an interesting story behind it..!

When I was your age no one talked about Hitler's birthday. What are we coming to?

Here's one of my old favorites to cheer everyone up. I found it like this - obviously a fan picture from which someone removed herself, so it's a little off-balance. I love the look on his face though.

We will be offering $25 "rush tickets" to the performance-only on Monday.

We are not accepting reservations for these tickets - it is first come-first served. If you know anyone that would like to see the show for $25, tell them to arrive at the Box Office at Skirball (566 La Guardia Place, just south of Washington Square Park South) at 6:45pm. They can line up earlier, but tickets will not be sold until then.

Looks JUST like a post from the main board, heh.

... Adam isn't going to be there, right? I feel somewhat obligated to purchase a ticket because the box office is literally three blocks from my dorm, but I don't know if I want to spend money on this.

I can't go, but the show sounds great.

I always thought Adam's nose looked like the Scarecrow's nose from the Wizard of Oz. (misschung-your av make me think of it) Haha..I have no idea why, but it does.


Chloe- the only reason I know Hitler's birthday is because it is the on the same day as the Columbine shooting (in which the date was set for that specific day.) Don't worry, i'm not some sicko! hah.

No, I'm kidding. I might just go there at 6:45 and ask if they have anything left, but I'm not waiting in line with overly eager Tisch students for this.

about the concert - I would do it if it were something with Adam, but its final time for me, not to mention crazy work time, so I think I'll sit this one out. the BB kings show is just around the riverbend.

weird comment about adam's nose - never noticed that. anything having to do with the Wizard of Oz is kosher with me tho!

Don't worry Chloe, you're not the only one who didn't know about the whole 4/20 unofficial Pot Day. I found out in my English class when my teacher brought up a rather interesting email from the school board staff. It stated that you need to watch students more carefully tomorrow; and to make sure the said students try not to make any unexpected "bathroom" breaks. The whole thing is ridiculous to be perfectly honest with you.

misschung, the waist-grabber remark made me giddy cuz when I met him in San Francisco, he totally grabs your waist and holds on tight. my daughter took our picture and then pointed out to me later "look where his hand is" sigh.
it just makes me happy to remember............

aw, you're lucky. but its so true - he does it in like every picture. I said the other day to my friend that I have to start doing crunches bc if I ever meet Adam Pascal and he does that, I do not want to be embarassed, lol. nice workout incentive I have, huh?

Love the Adam pictures!

I didn't know about the whole pot day either until someone at lunch mentioned it. None of the teachers cared, though.

In Religion we ended up talking about the recent shooting (and Hitler's birthday) and it became quite the discussion/debate. Not only on that topic, but on the dangers we face today in general. My religion teacher said he never worried about half the things my class has to worry about now when he was our age.

4-20 is definitely more trouble than it's worth, considering that all the teachers were on edge today and my mom won't let me go to a concert tonight. I swear, the older I get, the more she micromanages.

Sorry you had to miss the concert. Maybe your mom is feeling more protective than usual due to recent events. (And now there's someone with a gun holed up at NASA.)

I hope it grows back soon too. It looks especially good in those two pictures, I think, and Adam seems to have chosen his shirt and jacket to reflect his hair color.
