me too, Tink. I am definetly the only Tony viewer in my household, hehe
Thanks mesmerized, but we're not all so young that we need to be lectured about being nice. Disagreements happen. So do stupid leeching posters.
I find it interesting the video poster didn't know the name of the song. Let the Sunshine In is a very popular song; much more than Take Me Or Leave Me. I mean, it was in a car commercial recently and they make one of those Hallmark music cards that plays it; it's not like you had to be around during the height of Hair to have heard it before.

what's limbo?
I think more civility on this board and the internet in general is sorely needed. That's just my opinion, of course, and in the past I was ready to flame away on occasion myself, but I've since come to believe that it was a mistake.
Hmm, my Internet's been cutting out all day because of the storm, so that could've been the problem. I said I liked Tink's dress.
Thanks for the video clip, Chloe. It looks like a fun event.
I feel like a brownie.
My Tony party usually consists of me sitting on the bed in my room with a bowl of popcorn. Pretty pitiful, but my family doesn't watch them and neither do any of my friends. Last year I tried to get my family to watch them with me on our flat screen, but they all became "busy" halfway through. I won't even get to watch the Tonys this year because my graduation party is that same day.
*sings "Oh TIVO" in my nicest voice*
*ouch, sorry skittles, I was totally just kidding, trieng to lighten the mood, (aparently it didnt work!) but I didnt mean to offend anyone! ♥
well, if anyone hears about anyhthing please share. If not Im showin up on someones doorstep! hehe jk

Chloe, I agree.
Okay, not only has my internet/phone been dead for the past two days, but my cell has also been disconnected because they credited my MOMS account instead of mine when we paid the bill. And they refuse to transfer the payment over. I love how they have no problem taking your money, it just cant budge once they get their claws into it.
I feel so disconnected from the world! Thank god for this computer at work
your at work now?
Blech!

well I'm at my "night job" babysitting right now. I was at my real job at the library earlier. Today has been one long day. Actually the kids' mom is a tony voter so I get daily reviews of all the shows, so its not too bad :)
so does anyone know, is Adam actually filming on Cape Cod right now? or is that over. wasn't he supposed to be working on the cd this summer? thanks , Chloe, for the link, I love it when I get to hear Adam sing something different.
He says he's going to be working on the CD this summer, yes. It's not summer yet, though, so he certainly could still hold to that. It's not like one is in place of the other when it's only mid-May.
yeah, I realize its mid May, but he'll pretty busy this summer appearing on Broadway, so it seemed like it be hard to record a cd also. but what do I know, I have no idea how long it take to record a cd. what I'd really love is to see some tour dates on the west coast soon. I can't get to New York so I'd love Adam to come here.

He'll only be on Broadway for six weeks. I don't think there's much to worry about. The summer is looooong.
He won't be on Broadway until August; he has more than enough time up until then. And he just had a couple concerts in California in the fall; didn't you say you went to them?
yeah I went but that was a loonnnggg time ago. it was the best night ever. with all the excitement of the broadway appearence, I am getting kinda depressed that I can't be there. its practicly a historical moment, to see him and Anthony reprise their roles. I go from being sad, to frustrated to pissed. so, if I had a concert to look forward to, I could deal with it better. lets face it, all you east coasters will be discussing the appearences at length, and I'll be sooooooo jealous. i am already, actually. but I'll be here reading everyword.
The LA concerts were more recent than the last time I saw Adam. Some people on this thread haven't seen him and still won't see him in Rent (Dancinqueen, CanadianSnowbird).
I'll add my name to that list too skittles
is that a choice or circumstance?
Why would big fans now see him by choice? By nature of being fans, if they had the opportunity, I'm sure they would choose to do so.
excactly, that's what I was thinking. If I was anywhere near, (by near I mean within 10 hours driving distance) I'd so be there. I just can't fly across the country in August do to circumstances involving major surgery (TMI?) but I'd drive a GREAT distance to see RENT w/ A&A. my daughter keeps pleading for us to go, since she is the one having sugery, I would love to be able to console her with a concert at least. anyway, she hasn't given up on going to New York, I just think it's impossible.

"Why would big fans now see him by choice"
I thought she was asking why they would ever choose NOT to see him if they had the opportunity
Robin, I'm sure when he starts touring he will play shows on the West Coast. I'm sorry you and your daugther wont be able to see him in Rent, though
Yeah, that's what I was asking. But then again, "opportunity" doesn't arise under the same circumstances for everyone; for many people, a ten hour drive in order to see a performance is unreasonable, and circumstances might only allow if it were, say, an hour.

Right, thats what I thought you were saying, and I agree.
