Sounds like a charming guy.
You disappeared, Mandi. There must be something particularly limboish about a post 99.

I hope asking Cary Shields about the CDs shames him. I think it would be fun to shame Cary Shields. In a back alley.
I know nothing about Toledo, but feel safe in assuming it's closer to you than to most of us.
Probably, but still over 3 hours away, and I have no car. I don't know that I can justify a lonely Greyhound trip up to Toledo after this month's BB Kings, and Rent in August. It's okay, though. I'm not complaining, just making fun of Toledo.

You can justify it. It's a bus ride! You can read and do crossword puzzles and sleep! You KNOW you're going to want to go by the time October arrives. Plus, he'll hopefully be playing the entirety of the new album by then, in promotion of the winter release.

Just the fact that I looked up the Greyhound rate means I haven't ruled it out yet, of course.
Ohio is bigger than I somehow expected it to be. I was all excited when I thought the Toledo show was going to be the new one, but it appears I was wrong. You are therefore excused from making the six hour round trip via public or borrowed transportation.
ETA: See now, I checked for other posts RIGHT before I posted this, and none showed up. It must be the evil influence of our new troll.

The fact that it's months away just gives you extra time to put in your super special request for your fav, The Time It Takes to Fall.
That's been happening all day; a whole slew of posts disappeared into limbo on one of the Xanadu threads.
Oh, Ohio.
I would request Cellophane Sun myself, but I'm not the one who may be taking a six hour bus ride.
The board is certainly strange at the moment, Emcee.
Awww, I like The Time it Takes to Fall. =P
However. JUST HERE TO THE LEFT OF YOU.
Toledo really isn't that far away from me either, maybe about 4 hours. Although, I don't think I can really justify making the trip there.

Craww likes The Time It Takes to Fall, too! Although maybe not in the same way...
I would donate to a fund that collected money for the purpose of bribing him to play Just Here again.

I don't think he'd play that song unless I offered him a hundred dollar bill. Then I'd probably have to try and write down the lyrics for him, from memory. I'd add some stray lines from Boys for Pele songs and he wouldn't even notice.
Oh, Ohio.
Was the Cincinnati Playhouse run of Company the only time you were in Ohio? (Still so so bitter at how close that was, and yet a few months too soon for me to care.)
I'd been in the Cincinnati airport once before to get a connecting flight, but yeah, that was my one and only time on Ohio soil. For someone who's only been there once, though, I know a staggering amount of people from Ohio.
It's bouncy. I like it.
He likes me. Maybe if I ask really really really nicely.

Make sure that the select lines from include "give me peace, love, and a hard cock."
... you knew that was coming.

He still hasn't given anyone those CDs? I'm glad now that I was too lazy to send a check to buy one.

Wear something low-cut.
And the Cincinnati airport is actually in Kentucky, not Ohio. That's the only thing I learned when I was there.
Hiya everyone. I've been lurking for a bit but the quarter is over & I have some time before summer classes so I thought I'd jump in & introduce myself. I'm Polly.

Hello, welcome to the thread
Hi, and welcome.
Heh, I remember that about the airport, but it's close enough. And yes, definitely - much more likely to have my request granted that way.
Adam is doing a show in Toledo?? hmmm, but it's not the Broadway show? Just trying to get caught up!
Hola ladies!
Happy Belated Birthday Lexi!
Those aren't my dogs, just what happens when you get bored and do google image searches!
Toledo????????? Yahooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Craww where are you from, i always assumed you were all in the NY area!
Ugh, I cant wait!!!!! Adam in July, hopefullyin Sept, AND IN OCTOBER YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, Lexi, Sorry I missed your birthday, I hope it was wonderful!
Your general tone gives me the impression you may be going. If so, have a great time and tell us all about it.
All these mentions of Toledo and I'm thinking of that song Toledo Surprise from Drowsy. That should be Adam's big Broadway comeback. One of the singing, dancing mobsters.

That just makes me think of us fangirling Jason Kravits and his potbelly.
Hee. I really did like him on The Practice. He made Laura Flynn Boyle scenes more tolerable.
