It'd be sad if it came to that, because they're both SO great with their fans, and meeting them is really exciting for a lot of perfectly sane people.

I said "snub" because a few people have hinted that they thought they would simply not stage door because they are shy and because of past incidents. I don't believe that, but is has been mentioned a few times. If security escort happens I would definitely think it is for safety purposes and not them being arrogant. From the few experiences I have had waiting for Adam after his solo shows, I couldn't technically blame him. Some of those girls scared me, let alone him. And it was only a group of 20-30 people, and I would think RENT stage door could gather 100+ for something like this.

**edit** I just realized that my last statement pretty much stated Em's last post word for word! ooops, hehe!
It's a true shame, because as Em said, Adam is SOO nice and it sucks if non crazy fan girls (or at least only semi crazy fan girls) don't get to meet him because of sucky people!

I can't imagine Anthony would not stagedoor. And you know he'd give Adam sh*t if he didn't.

The only "precautions" I've heard is that they might have a driver, which is nowhere near the same as 300-lb security guards that shove off innocent little fangirls that get too close. Besides, the Rent producers are too cheap to want to pay for security, which they probably see as unnecessary short of death threats. I thought I replied to this yesterday but anyway...

Considering some of the things that I have seen posted around on the internet, I wouldn't blame them too much if they did request security. I mean there is still a video up in internet la-la land about murdering Adam's wife. While they are claiming it's all a big misunderstanding, I would still be considering it too.

How much you want to bet they'll claim "death to Cybele" is the fans' version of Book of Endings or some bullsh*t like that.

polly2, your previous post was stuck in limbo. If you go to "reply to message" and scroll down, you can see it.

They could request security, but that doesn't mean they'll get it. And I can't imagine Anthony actually requesting security in the first place.

very true about fans' version of book of endings - although a death threat is a little more extreme!

I'm still going to take my chances at stagedooring the july 30th show - I have nothing to lose except my pride

polly- scroll down o the left hand side and go to where it says "your settings" then scroll down on that page until you come across something that says "change my profile picture" then you can upload a new picture

OMG, you know you listen to RENT too much when your 3 year old knows some of the words to La Vie Boheme. And possibly some that he really shouldn't know. At least he can't really say those ones clearly.

I like that you know it's Tolkien, unlike certain other Rent fans that have posted on the boards, heh. Someone once used a Gandalf quote and attributed it to Anthony in their sig line. It led to much mocking.

Oh my, that is funny. I've read the trilogy about 4 or 5 times. Plus I've read the Hobbit a few times. I am still trying to get through the Silmarillion. But it puts me to sleep. Hey, I think I just thought of the cure for my insomnia lol.

I've gotten through The Hobbit, And LOTR 1 & 2, but still have to read Return of the King and the Silmarillion. He is a great author.

Hey I finally got my picture up. I tried deleting & uploading the same picture but it didn't work so I picked a different one & it works. I guess it just didn't like the one I selected the first time. The munchkin in that pic with me is my 5 year old, Alejandro.
