This is probably a stupid question, but is that Macy's spam at all legit? Because it seems like they'd get penalized for hacking people's accounts if it were. (And no, I'm not thinking of getting one of those cards.)

Ok, I haven't been here long & I haven't managed to make it through all these pages of posts so can someone please enlighten me as to what defying gravity quote from Anthony you are speaking of?

Yeah that's just the biological kids. I have more... one that lives with me, the rest don't. My oldest is 18. He's the one living with us. His bio siblings live with their uncle & their mom now, but I had them for 8 years so they are mine too. Plus my step-daughter & step-son, neither of which live with us. I'm just over-flowing with kids :)

That's 12 total if you lost count somewhere.

I actually only just turned 30 lol. I'm not real old. Just a little :) I saw the movie RENT. It didn't take much lol. Of course, I've always been a fan of the long haired rockers. The shorter hair took some getting used to but I've come around.

His voice is so amazing. My 6 week old daughter is already a fan. She already shows a preference to certain songs.

polly2, after 12 threads, we've amassed quite a few inside jokes.

Anthony's "Defying Gravity" quote was part of the mocking involved; we made really famous quotes our sig lines and attributed them to Anthony. I think mine was "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."

I'm interning at a marketing firm. What sucks is that during the day I'm basically a door-to-door salesperson. It makes for a 12 hour day at least, though, so it takes some adjusting from having so much down time!

Haha, thank. god. I'm not selling knives! I'm doing it for Verizon. Not the most glamorous job, but the pay is much better than most internships. Be thankful that I won't be coming to your door!

Yeah I'm sure. I'm going stir crazy as it is. Of course, I am sure that the minute summer classes start up, we'll get some news & I won't have time to follow the thread as close.

This is the first quarter that I am taking a full course load so I am already worried about that. Fall will be worse though since I'll have a math class. Let's just say math is NOT my strong subject.

Don't worry about it, activity on the thread has been erratic lately. A lot of posters are focused on the theater awards this season, and some of us (such as me) have been very busy.

I'm kind of amazed that a mother of so many young kids has the time and energy to go back to school. Good for you!

As skittles explained, we were just tired of all the Anthony girls and their crazyness during his book tour so we had signatures that mocked them. I believe mine was "Too long I've been afraid of losing love I guess I've lost, well if that's love it comes at much too high a cost".
