Good casting! Bonus points for the female roles.
Man, I haven't seen that movie in forever. I should rent it.

On a Cary Elwes-related note, I was watching The Princess Bride on TV last night. Adam Guettel was working on a musical version, but it fell through. Adam would have made a good Westley for the same reason LePetite previously mentioned.
Stokes was in a workshop version, but I never heard which role. He'd be so good in many of them.

I watched most of The Princess Bride last night as well. Love that movie! Never have watched Men in Tights, though lePetite's cast list intrigues me. I may have to rent it.
I am trying to remember what I was watching recently when Stephen Colbert suddenly appeared, it was so random. I know I've seen him in an episode of Law and Order, but I don't think that was it...
oh jeez, I just went to IMDB and it must have been Sesame Street that he popped up on.

I only watched the scene in the fire swamp through Prince Humperdinck swearing he'll send out his four fastest ships to find Westley. I have it on DVD, so I've seen it probably a hundred times already, heh.
I'm kinda glad the Princess Bride musical fell through.
Really? I thought it sounded like one of the better musical ideas based on musicals. To me, it certainly makes more sense for stage translation than movies like Shrek or Legally Blonde.

Understandable. I think The Little Mermaid musical is an abomination. It would be like paying to watch the rape of my childhood.

I think the fire swamp is my favorite scene in Princess Bride. ROUSs! I'm not so attached to the movie that I can't imagine a musical version, but there are some movies I'd hate to see them try to take to the stage.
Thanks for the heads up about Robin Hood, Fromage.

The Little Mermaid wasn't as bad as I expected it to be.
Robin, I've never been to the Tonys. When I have more money I might buy a ticket, but this year it just didn't work out. Instead I have to babysit for a couple who will be in attendance, lol.

That is really creepy and not at all attractive. It's wrong, so so wrong...

I hate portrait tattoos. Of anyone, anywhere. They NEVER turn out well.

Wasn't there some girl who had tattooed portraits of, like, Sutton Foster and Jenn Gambatese and other random Broadway actresses all over her? The Adam tattoo is hideous, but at least he's less comparatively obscure.

Oh my god, the Sutton one. I remember that now. Seriously, hilarious.
My dear friend just offered me $300 to get this tattooed on my person:
I declined, but gave it enough thought to hash out the deal.

$300 in addition to the cost of the tattoo or just $300?
dr. acula, that tattoo looks like an "after" of the poor girl's death.
I think the worst face tattoo was a bunch of men's portraits all over someone's back. A really odd selection, it looked like Dumbledore and Albert Einstein and a bunch of other old men. It turns out it was portraits of famous Mormons. I think Dumbledore and Einstein would make for a much better story.

How... terrifying. I think it's the teeth.

Teeth are usually the scariest parts of any portrait tattoos with teeth. Which is something I get from my few dozen fumbled attempts at drawing portraits. Teeth are a pain, probably moreso with needles.
$300 in addition to the cost of the tattoo or just $300?
She wouldn't go higher than price of tattoo plus $50.00. I could probably get plus $100.00 out of it, but...not worth it. Even after I redesign it, outline it, scale it smaller, and determined the most obscured spot for it. Still not worth it.

When compared to this, the Adam tattoo isn't that bad design-wise. It still wins the creepy award though.
