I definitely agree about the miniseries. I know that I'm way biased in favor of it, but Keira Knightley's Elizabeth just didn't jive for me, while Jennifer's is the perfect mix of playfulness and poise. And... well, yeah, Colin's Mr. Darcy is kind of the definitive. It's definitely my favorite adaptation of an Austen book as well, although I liked Sense and Sensibility and kind of enjoyed the Mansfield Park movie more than the novel (probably because it's so far-removed from it).
Anyway, Adam! I'm excited for the people who're seeing him tomorrow.
I wonder if he's planning to sing another selection from The Sound of Music. I hope he is.
That's very sweet of you, Ashley. You chose an appropriate name.
I got to see Jennifer Ehle on stage in "Design for Living." She was wonderful, but what really struck me was when she was in the lobby afterwards, collecting for BC/EFA. It was as if she were standing in a spotlight. She just shone.
ETA: Mandi, he really should.

Ooh, that's cool. I would really like to see her on stage. I was kind of disappointed to hear that she wasn't very well received as Lady Macbeth this summer, but that seems to be such a tough part.

I loved Kiera Knightley's Pride and Prejudice. To be fair, it's the only one I've seen. But I watch that movie constantly.
You should check out the miniseries, Sarah. It's really long, but kind of amazing.
Hehe, I was just trying to think of funny songs that Adam could sing from Sound of Music, but I guess the title one and Maria just about cover it. I Feel Pretty from WSS might do nicely, though.
He seems to like doing girls' musical theater songs, so why not?
It seems very hard to believe that the Metropolitan show is tonight. I was just thinking back to when we first found out about the other two shows here in NY and wondered if they'd be actually happening.
I can't believe it either. I expected today to go a little differently, though. heh.
Ah, I'm sooo excited for you guys seeing Adam tonight! I want y'all to remember EVERYTHING! And take pictures. And audios. And call me if anything interesting happens!

Will do, skittles! I'm so incredibly excited.
Have fun tonight guys! When does it start?
Have fun tonight everyone... I can't wait for the details!
Thanks guys. It starts at 10:30, but I'm leaving now for the city so as to be sure to get good seats. Talk to you all later!
I JUST sent you a PM, but we can talk later.
Have a GREAT time, Chloe! And everyone. I'm excited for Lexi to finally be able to see him!
Have fun everybody! I'm sure you all will.
Wow, it starts really late!
Have fun!
I wonder what he'll be wearing. Or if he'll be wearing shoes this time.
And if anyone is inspired *coughdrunkcough* you can ask him which message boards in particular are puppy-like.
I need to EAT. I feel like I'm going to throw up. I don't think my body knows what to do with two very opposing emotions.
You have to eat! What if your tummy starts growling in the middle of like, his song for Cybele and he hears it? Awkward!

I love that I've been dubbed the village drunk.
What if you throw up on Adam? That wouldn't be good.

I didn't get sick last night!
Anyway, I'm not drinking tonight. I want to remember the show!
(Well, maybe one? If they don't card!)

I didn't mention any names, but if you feel that it was addressing you...that says more than anything.
I don't want to throw up on him.
