insomniak, we didn't exactly have notice or anything. All of a sudden, it wouldn't let us post anymore. There was a message saying we had reached 5000 posts and to start a new thread, so we did. It's not that serious.

I understand how nia feels. She started the original thread a year and a half ago - the first official love thread on the board, I believe. It's really too bad she didn't get to start this one. Part four is also the only thread that I've been able to read so little of. I feel like I missed most of it.

I just meant that part 4 only lasted for 3 weeks. There will be more than enough chances (with better warning now that we have the 5000 post limit) to get things back in order; this was just a semi-emergency situation.

Some of you were suggesting earlier that the rest of the board would be sneering at us for having so many threads, but of course they're actually terribly envious.

Jose was the former mod and he was kind of a Nazi with the deletes on the OT board. I don't know what could have prompted Musical_nerd to miss him, because I don't think anything he did really helped the board.

Last weekend. He announced it in a thread, then it was locked a few hours later. He's still posting around the boards, he just doesn't have his delete button anymore.

Nia, are you seriously angry about this? I'm really not in the position to talk considering I've only been here for a little while, but Em's heart was in the right place. As cliche as it sounds, isn't that the only thing that matters?

Sorry, that sounded extremely trite, but I don't think this is something that anyone should get truly upset about.

Whatever. One person's right thing is another person's betrayal. I've never been a good decision maker. I completely understand why she's upset about this, and I feel badly, but.... sigh.

On another note, why is the Mojito thread, with over 13,000 posts, still not locked?
