"What was the drama with the Goodbye Love pictures? I wasn't here last year."
Someone was on the Rent set for Goodbye Love and took pictures and put them on her personal website. A poster here found it and put the link up and the person freaked out because she got like 1000 hits in 2 hours and had to take her website down. They ended up being posted on Forget-Regret.net, but the person did get upset when she realized just how many Rent fans there were out there.
Mel, ttB is one of my favorite shows. I've been in a really reflective mood right now where I'm re-assessing my life and these words perfectly describe how I feel right now.

Posted: 1/21/06 at 4:22pmI think the best part about Rent is that people get to experience being in a great production that didn't necessarily aspire to be in a show. Sure, they stunt cast sometimes and some cast members are better than others but it's so often full of "regular" people. Not that the bigger names aren't regular people but you get what I mean.

Posted: 1/21/06 at 4:23pmRandom Question...has anyone here seen 42nd Street? It's coming to my city and I want to see it, but I was wondering if it is worth paying 50 dollars for.

Haha, I definitely accidentally started the conversation about Mark's haircut. Oops.
But that's kind of an overreaction, asking who the "ringleader" of the message board is because someone posted pictures of her. If she can't handle just having her picture posted on BWW, how is she going to react when people start actually reviewing the new cast?

Posted: 1/21/06 at 4:26pmI think its just really new for her and probably kind of overwhelming to have nobody know your name one day and the next have pictures of you posted on a message board by people you don't know. I'm sure she'll probably get used to it in time.

Posted: 1/21/06 at 4:27pmI was actually wondering if it was her who asked cam who he knew. That person had a join date of today.
#2482Revisitation
Posted: 1/21/06 at 4:29pmNow I that I think about it, it probably is her because she asked if Cam was stalking the cast.

Yeah, I saw that. Cam has a legitimate reason for knowing who the cast is and considering how many people have been asking about the cast in recent weeks, was just sharing what she knew.
Dude, if you can't handle the heat, stay away from Rent.

Posted: 1/21/06 at 4:33pmI would think people auditioning for Rent would be people that were sort of expecting to gain fans overnight. Of course with a show like this not only can you expect to gain fans but an internet full of people who are watching you like a hawk. I'm sure it's stressful to perform for people looking for mistakes...but it sadly comes with the job. I think the best they can do is perform the best they can and be nice people. Critics seem to harp a little less on nice people.
#2486Revisitation
Posted: 1/21/06 at 4:34pmI think the person was either her or her friend, because on her myspace her friend commented that she came on BWW and that we have too much free time.
#2487Revisitation
Posted: 1/21/06 at 4:43pmYeah, I saw that too. But for someone posting on myspace, that's very "Pot, this is kettle. You're black."

threadjacking but in a good direction...
you could own your very own metrocard with adam's face on it. Ebay never ceases to amuse me!

I love Ebay. I try not to go on there too much though because it sucks you in.
I really like that picture of Adam.
#2491Revisitation
Posted: 1/21/06 at 4:53pmWhy would anyone pay $1.35 for an expired Metro card?

#2492Revisitation
Posted: 1/21/06 at 4:54pmI dunno ... but I'd pay that for a metro card before I'd pay a grand for Mark's movie glasses :)
#2493Revisitation
Posted: 1/21/06 at 4:56pmWhy not? It's a picture of Adam

Or 11 and a half grand for a walk on.
Or wait, would I do that? Oh I wish I could. :)

There's so much crap on there people are being swindled into buying.
Someone is selling a Rent playbill. Not an OBC, or autographed or anything, just a normal playbill. And someone's bidding on it! Why? You can pick up a stack of them for free down at the theater.
Ew, bidding is up to $26 on the ugly new Rent windowcard. Who would want that? I want one of the old ones.
