Yes, I was thinking of stories to tell!
The 24 Hour Plays, aka The Night of the Real Conversation.
I wish there were ANYTHING happening right now.

I used to love stomping on bubble wrap. I still love popping it. I'm just immature that way, lol.
Thanks CS - I'll keep that in mind if I decide to peek into that thread. The bubble wrap page is almost as good as the real thing.
Yes, Em, things are sadly quiet on the Adam front at the moment. Seeing him in the 24 Hour thing made me want to see him on stage again, even in a straight play.
If popping bubble wrap is immature, then...
(sung to the tune of the Toys R Us jingle)
I don't wanna grow up
I'm a Bubble Wrap Kid
I see the bubble wrap and I just have to pop it...
Virtual bubble wrap... that just made my night.
*is VERY easily amused*
Post it Em! I can't be the only one sharing!

I'd enjoy hearing that story again too.
Puh-lease Em. *insert pouty look here*
Don't you like that?
k!
Yes, Em.
Think about poor little me and the rest of the quasi-newbies who were not here to hear your glorious stories before ....
C'mon Em! Without a good story to get us back on track, we'll spend the whole night singing songs about popping bubble wrap!

And about the wonders of Toys R Us
pop pop pop
pop pop pop
and a couple of snap snap snaps
it's how we pass the night away
on the merry ole in-ter-net
You're all such talented poets/songwriters, especially at 1 am!
nonono, we're good song writers BECAUSE it's 1am. Silly. :)
Ooh - silly me!
Ok, It's almost 1:30, I haven't been getting much sleep lately, but, I just thought of "Adam and Raul, clad only in bubblewrap."

Hahsdh, I guess we just work best in the middle of the night. And it's only 12:30 here.
And yes I wrote it that way on purpose. Hahsdh is now the new wierd Internet catchphrase, coming to you from the main board. ;]

Maybe I'll be repeating some of Em's story, but just to set the stage, I'll tell my story about this. Back in the late fall Adam appeared in several benefit performances. One was the 24 Hour Plays, an unusual situation in which six playwrights and 24 or so actors got together and created six plays within 24 hours. The pressure on the actors was obviously to learn their lines and create something of a character in the space of a few hours.
Adam's play was written by Warren Leight, who is involved with one of the Law & Order spin-offs at the moment. My imagination ran somewhat wild when I saw that the cast was Adam and three women, but it turned out they played siblings. They were the dysfunctional sisters and he was the wise-ass brother. It was really fun to watch him going through a box of family items, putting on a baseball cap that said "uncut" and playing with a teddy bear.
But I thought he was part Jewish!
OMG, it took me so long to get that. Ok, maybe a minute, but still. Updated On: 1/22/06 at 01:29 AM
Apparently the character in the play wasn't skittles!
*giggles*
I would've loved to have seen that play...
