I've only looked at the thread a little today, but my impulse is to suggest everyone simmer down a little. Silly and even slightly pornographic things said about Anthony aren't really going to hurt him much, I would guess. It would be different if someone were posting truly hateful, homophobic type things, but these girls just seem pretty silly to me.

Anyway, sorry you're all feeling upset, I understand how that can happen.

I just find it so frustrating. I want to shake them and be like "don't you see?!" But I know they just don't.

In truth, though, Chloe is probably right. It probably upsets us more than it upsets him, but it's still so disrespectful. This is how they show admiration?

Steelers vs. Broncos... the AFC Chamionship game (I think). This decides who is going to the Superbowl. Steelers 24, Broncos 3. (There is no need to scream, heh.)

I want the Seahawks to win personally. I'm not as big a fan of pro football but a guy plays on the Seahawks that used to play for my school. And we are a small private school that generally sucks at football, so he is our only graduate to have gone to the pros.

I know, Emcee, I can see why you're frustrated. On the other hand, I can recall sometime in the not so distant past suggesting I would like some Adam with whipped cream, so most of us have been a little disrespectful at times. It's hard to draw the line and easy to forget how public the internet is.

Chloe, I was calmed down after I originally posted there today. But someone coming in and getting on all our cases about objecting to it, because they had a RIGHT to do it, just set me off again. She was making a ridiculous argument and I couldn't just let her get away with blaming us for being offended, then playing the victim for being "attacked".

Sometimes, I kind of feel like a hypocrite.

But, they KNOW that Anthony reads the boards. You'd think that would give them some perspective.

You have the RIGHT to do a lot of things, but that doesn't mean they aren't objectionable.
