He is so amazing. You know, this is terrible, but I kind of put actors in an order, like Adam and Anthony are on the same level- the very top, and then I had Norbert and Raul at the next level down. After hearing this interview- he's officially on the same level as Adam/Anthony. I think I'm officially in love.

Gah! My laptop came unplugged and the screen went dark and I had to restart my computer and I lost something I was working on.

That interview just sealed it for me and Raul became my favorite actor right then. He just puts so much into his performances; it's just amazing.

It is entirely too early.

I think that I have portions (or...the majority) of Raul's Downstage Center interview memorized. It's such a brilliant interview. I think it's so sweet how choked up he gets about Tick, Tick... BOOOM!, and you can really tell how completely he throws himself into his acting.

I do that, too. Although, I separate singing and acting. I prefer Adam's voice by far out of everyone you just mentioned, but after seeing Raul in Cabaret... I really think Raul's the best actor out of them.

People *always* ask me who I like better. And I can't do it. I just... can't. I used to -- on some days -- be able to choose whose voice I liked better, or who I thought was more attractive to look at, or who I'd rather be on a deserted island with, or who I'd rather sleep with, or... well, you get the point. But I really can't pick between the two of them.

The only place I can differentiate is in acting. Raul is 100 times the actor Adam will ever learn to be.

I am ASTONISHED at how quickly this thread is approaching 1000 posts. XD Then again, this IS the fourth part of the Adam Pascal Love Thread... I really shouldn't be so shocked.

I think Raul and Adam are incomparable... but it's true. Raúl can act his ass off (the Johnny Depp of theatre, as some of us say!). Adam's ability always seems to center around his music and his voice. Emotion through music.

It's kind of ironic that E's not a singer. He just sort of happens to be able to sing. I don't think there's anything he CAN'T do.

I agree that Raul is an incredible actor, the things he is able to show just with his eyes. But I think I love Adam just a little bit more.
