Where is it?
Wow. Adam as a nun. Mandi, you have my fear and respect. I will never piss you off.
Well, they start giving tenor awards when it is your fourth year.
Fourth year - Blanket
Fifth year - Plaque with 5 cabin pictures
Sixth year - Bible
Seventh year - LL Bean Backpack w/ Camp Ozark on it
Eighth year - Tree planted for you
Ninth year - Brick engraved
10th year - Plaque with 2nd 5 years of cabin pictures
They used to have very few campers go 8 and 9 years...but recently there have been so many 8 year campers that they don't have room to plant anymore trees so now the trees have more than one plaque on it. And they don't have that many bricks. Its not that its fancy...I'm not really sure why they do the awards thing actually. But its really cool that there will always be a tree there with my name under it.
Here it is, Nia:
hey everyone, adam here. let me start by thanking you all for coming here to myspace. i should have come here a while ago but seeing as im a bit technologically inept, it took the wonderful zan sabini offering her web knowledge. to get me here. first let me ask you, what do you all do here? shouldn't you be reading a book?...only kidding...sort of....
i thought id let you know what im up to. i have a new music project im working on right now that im very excited about. it involves some new players, and new material. i have decided to scale down my musician line up to bass, piano, and occasionally drums. ill be doubling as bass player as well as singing, which is a new and exciting endeavor for me. in addition to new material, and some reworking of civilian and model prisoner songs. i will be doing some really interesting rearranged versions of some classic musical theater songs i.e. maria...what i did for love...easy as life...glory!
im trying to crate a sound that can connect the new material im doing with some of the theater standards that you musical theater fans are so fond of. im very excited about it and i hope you like it. my first stop will be at the NACA conference in boston on February 20th...then some dates in the northeast in early april. i hope you all can come check it out.
i want to thank you all for your support. im means the world to me and i would not have the opportunity to do what i do without you
much love and thanks
adam

It's no worse than my AIMspeak. I don't capitalize or fix typos, though I do use punctuation.
*patpat* Little Adam is using a computer. It's sort of like giving a kid a blowtorch.
His typing makes me sad.

Me too.
Okay, he HAS to be sick of singing Glory.
I still can't read "Maria" without cracking up.

I find it very amusing that he has 2890 "friends"
This sounds mean, but... I didn't think there were 2890 people who knew who he is.
I wish he'd write i'm instead of im at least.
He could at least *try* to type in what seems like English.
Yours is better, nia. I hardly pay THAT much attention, but Adam, it's a public post!
And some capital letters would be good too
Me too SD. I can't get that song out of my head.
Nia, I'm not sure if they know him or know rent.

*nods* i believe that capitalization is a form of prejudice against the majority. why should the letters at the beginning of the sentence or a proper noun be treated differently? i vote for equalization of our alphabet.
liberate the english language!

adam is going to sing something from the sound of music?!?! holy mother of god.
he is gay.
Nia, he says Maria, but I think it's Maria from WSS.
And yeah, he could use some apostrophes.
Heh, I love how we're all "Yay, concerts! We love you Adam. Now learn how to type!"
Haha nia. We seem to be split over whether it's the one from The Sound of Music or the one from West Side Story.
I just thought him of singing "My Maria" by Brooks and Dunn and laughed. That would certainly be interesting.

i'll put wss on my to-watch list. i got the stephen sondheim collection for christmas and i've saved most of the dvds until i'll lose my computer.
At least he put periods in at the end of his sentences, and it's not one long large run-on sentence.
Are you typing without caps to spite me, or as equality to letters?

I'm going to shut up about The Sound of Music. It's confusing everyone -- but holy ****, I can't stop laughing at the thought of him singing "how do you hold a moonbeam in your hand?"
BG, I definitely do think it's the WSS "Maria" now that I thought about it! The SoM one was the first to pop into my head, but yeah, I HIGHLY doubt he's singing the nuns' song.
It's not even the "im"s that bother me. It's the fact that he apparently considers "to get me here" a sentence and the "im means the world to me" line. Oh, Adam.
Em, I'm sure you're probably aware of this, but Heath Ledger is going to be on Leno tonight. :)
I really want to hear him sing What I Did For Love. With his dancing skills, it's the closest he could ever get to A Chorus Line.

it's more difficult to use decent grammar without capitalization.
em, it's all for the letters. i would never make such a sacrifice for your petty self. :-P
i can think of at least one person on bww whose sentences are worse than adam's.
I could think of a lot more than one.
I AM SO EXCITED FOR LENO. I want to know what his accent sounds like!!
