I bruised my tailbone on a water slide a few summers ago. It hurt for months!
I'm about 5'4", and I've always wished I were taller. I know it's actually about average height, but compared to most of my family I'm short (I think I may have actually shed a few tears the day I realized my younger brother was now taller than me). I feel really bad complaining about it now though because my roommate is only 4'8".
isnt it true if you break your butt bone (not sure if thats the smae thing as the tailbone) it never heals?
i'm short compared to my family too -- im only 5'3, and supposidly im done growing

My friend did it snowboarding.
I slipped on the kitchen floor because I was wearing only socks, fell back and landed on my ass. Much less glamorous.
if i had a dime for everytime i did that..
I slipped and broke my elbow. That was cool.
I'm 5'10", and my little brother is 6'5". Apparently, we got the tall genes.
Oh, I hate that skittles! Walking around in socks can be quite dangerous.
Ouch at all of these broken tailbone stories.
It heals, but you don't get put in a cast or anything, you just have to suffer through the pain. Which is the part that sucks the most, it's the ONLY bone I've ever broken. It still aches from time to time when the weather is getting bad, and this happened two summers ago.

My kicked my sister and broke my baby toe.
my sisters 5'9, so people like to joke that she took all the tall and left none for me. But I like to think of myself as average height
haha, nice allie

I've broken lots of bones.
I've never broken anything, but I sprained my pinky when I was younger (my brother pushed me and I banged my hand against a wooden door).
My dad broke his ankle in October when he jumped off of the bar at his surprise birthday party.
I'm 17 and 5'2" but I'm relatively close to the height of most of the rest of my family members.
And OUCH to all the broken bone stories. The only thing I've really broken is a toe, by tripping on a weight.
is it true that you stop growing two years after you get your period?--- for girls, well..obviously haha.
I'm a klutz, so I've sprained, strained, and bruised nearly every part of my body. But I've only broken 1 bone and never needed stitches. Go figure.
Well, 2 years ago I was in a car accident, and I broke 2 ribs and my arm. And, I'm a LaCrosse goalie, so I've broken lots of fingers having balls whipped at me like that.
I like lacrosse, but it's so violent!
i like boys lacrosse better then girls lacrosse

I think it's true. At least, in my case it's been.
Mel, I've heard it's one year or less, but I was an exception to that rule.
I love lacrosse. It's so much fun.
I've had a lot of stitches too.
With all of that stuff, though, there's not *truly* a rule of thumb.
yeah, thats true.. i stopped growing two years after i got mine .
The only times I've ever needed stitches were when I had to have a mole removed and when I had my wisdom teeth taken out. Most of my injuries involve walking into walls or other stationary objects that cause bruising.
