I'm about 5'4", and I've always wished I were taller. I know it's actually about average height, but compared to most of my family I'm short (I think I may have actually shed a few tears the day I realized my younger brother was now taller than me). I feel really bad complaining about it now though because my roommate is only 4'8".

My friend did it snowboarding.
I slipped on the kitchen floor because I was wearing only socks, fell back and landed on my ass. Much less glamorous.

I'm 5'10", and my little brother is 6'5". Apparently, we got the tall genes.
Oh, I hate that skittles! Walking around in socks can be quite dangerous.

It heals, but you don't get put in a cast or anything, you just have to suffer through the pain. Which is the part that sucks the most, it's the ONLY bone I've ever broken. It still aches from time to time when the weather is getting bad, and this happened two summers ago.

I've never broken anything, but I sprained my pinky when I was younger (my brother pushed me and I banged my hand against a wooden door).
My dad broke his ankle in October when he jumped off of the bar at his surprise birthday party.

I'm 17 and 5'2" but I'm relatively close to the height of most of the rest of my family members.
And OUCH to all the broken bone stories. The only thing I've really broken is a toe, by tripping on a weight.

I'm a klutz, so I've sprained, strained, and bruised nearly every part of my body. But I've only broken 1 bone and never needed stitches. Go figure.

Well, 2 years ago I was in a car accident, and I broke 2 ribs and my arm. And, I'm a LaCrosse goalie, so I've broken lots of fingers having balls whipped at me like that.

I think it's true. At least, in my case it's been.

Mel, I've heard it's one year or less, but I was an exception to that rule.

The only times I've ever needed stitches were when I had to have a mole removed and when I had my wisdom teeth taken out. Most of my injuries involve walking into walls or other stationary objects that cause bruising.
