I don't get the big deal with Kristen Lee Kelly.

Supposedly, she was a great Maureen, and the fans went crazy over her, which is what caused the Sherie hatred, not because Sherie replaced Idina.

Right, I remember that; Sherie got it over KLK. But is she really that great? What else has she done? (Other than RHS.)

I think she did some off broadway plays...but I really don't know what. Didn't she do a play one night a week, on her off night from Rent?

I don't know much about KLK except that Adam once listed her as one of the Rent cast members he remained closest to.
Remember My Name is a little sad. It sounds like lyrics Adam would write too. "I don't know just what will become of me, and I don't know which way I'm headed, 'cause making music is my life, you know, and no matter what, I don't regret it" It's a little like What I Did for Love.
I did a little research on the Mute guys. The guitar player sells real estate in Syosset, and the bass player is in a Foo Fighters tribute band. He's got a page on a site for the band, and says that his closest brush with fame was being in Mute, which broke up a few months before the singer, Adam, became a huge Broadway star in Rent. "Oh well." I couldn't find anything on the drummer.
Here's the necklace that I've seen on him the most:

I know, but you're supposed to focus on the *necklace.* And I couldn't remember where else to find it off-hand.
*shudder* You could have blocked his hair out.
Those lyrics remind me a little of Apology.
A Foo Fighters tribute band? I'm sorry, but that's so pathetic.
Ugh. That hair. I'd like to hope that was a directorial decision and he didn't go into his audition looking like that and they thought "Perfect!"

You're welcome.
You wouldn't be saying that if I posted the old man pictures, heh.
On another note, I can't decide on an avatar.

Okay, okay, I've changed it. He was in Aida when he did SOR, so they chose to make him look that way. Maybe they were afraid of him looking too good.

Haha, Chloe, that's great.

I really liked your av before this one, Katt - the outstretched arm one.
I love that you edited the picture.

I like that one too. I can't decide though. I've changed it like ten times in the past few minutes.
iPhoto is the first program I've used for editing pictures and I'm really enjoying it. I also used their automatic enhancement tool, which did a little lightening and color correcting.
Katt, you're really going crazy with the avs - every time I refresh there's a new one.

I like that one, Katt, it's pretty.
You edited that one, Katt? I'm confused.

No, Chloe edited the picture to take away the mullet.
It looks like Katt is going to run through her entire collection of Roger photos.
By the way, I think it's a little harsh to say the guy's pathetic for being in a tribute band. I find it kind of admirable that he's still playing music despite never getting much recognition.
I might as well confess that I'm really just stalling here, because I really, really don't want to get to my income taxes, which have already gotten delayed from me being sick.

I didn't know that the Foo Fighters had tribute bands...
Remember My Name wasn't sad to me because I found the writing especially moving or profound, but it just seemed so earnest and representative of how so many wide-eyed teenagers feel with regards to fame.
ETA: Feel better, Chloe!
