I love that Rach hates YouTube re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part seven

Em, what do you have to go to the library for?

Oy, that sounds like fun. I have to do some research for a group project before my group's next meeting, and I keep trying to convince myself that I'll be able to find everything I need online.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part seven

I've stayed at the library for an extended period of time just once this semester. That was so I could read Angels in America (and that wasn't even class related). I really don't like my school's library, and it probably doesn't help that it was a trailer my sophomore year. (They were remodeling, but it's still stuck in the 70's.) Ack!

This isn't the main library (which is amazing) but it's also beautiful, and very quiet. I just don't quite feel like walking that far. Or actually doing work. I'm not sure if I'll get internet there, and that makes me sad.

I'll go at 12:30. That'll give me a full two hours before I need to go to class.

I think that's probably the one from December '00. I'm not sure of the exact date, but that's supposedly the best of the three OBC versions that regularly circulate. :-x

I thought I'd seen some of the Dec. one, but it was different. I don't really remember though.

I don't blame you for wanting to stay inside. It's so cold and windy, it even seeps into the house.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part seven

It's much better here than it was yesterday. Yesterday, it was so cold that I could hardly breathe outside.

I really want to go back to sleep, but that'll throw me off. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part seven

Ahem... 12/3/00... And I'm not watching it right now... The video overall sort of bugs me... but whatever, it's pretty clear.

I woke up at 11, which is early for me on a Monday.

Don't go back to sleep! Have a cup of regular tea instead. Tea is wonderful for perking you up a little without jolting you the way coffee can. At least the sun is shining too.

I'm sorry that I don't really remember a lot of specifics from when I saw Aida. I think it's even more frightening that I saw it around five and a half years ago.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part seven

Thinking about the fact that it's been almost six years since the first time I saw it (and thus Adam) makes me feel really old!

Three minutes and I must be off...

I'm listening to my Raul playlist. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part seven

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part seven

I went into Aida knowing almost nothing about Adam and having rather low expectations for the show, and was blown away by both.

Cybele just posted that she'll be on Martha Stewart March 22nd. That's pretty major publicity.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part seven

For some reason, in my head, 2000 sounds like just a couple of years ago. Then I'm always like, wait.....that was six years ago.

YAY for Cybele. That's quite an accomplishment.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part seven

I was talking about it yesterday, and said that I wasn't more than fourteen. That's forever ago.

I'll make sure I watch that!

Ok, library time. I hope I get internet.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part seven

I'm sure my school's library is good in terms of what it has, but I avoid going there unless it's absolutely necessary for a research paper or something. There are probably still a few graduate students picketing outside of it, and the building itself is so depressing it's no wonder that it's the preferred jumping destination of suicidal students :-X

The weather sucks, but at least it's about 10 degrees warmer now than it was at 7:30 this morning when I had to walk to my class.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part seven

As far as I'm concerned, 2000 sounds like a year I haven't really reached yet. When I was a child, each year seemed enormous and full of incident. They each had a definite personality. Now they fly by and feel shorter than the months used to.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part seven

Once again, I'm kicking myself for never seeing Aida on Broadway. What kills me is that my mom was kinda interested in seeing it, but I was in one of my rebellious-teenager moments at the time re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part seven

I can still vividly remember the anxiety leading up to 2000 and everyone thinking that the Y2K bug would cause all sorts of chaos. It's hard to believe that it was 6 years ago already.

Hee, sorry FANTAB; I actually was exhausted when I typed that up, but my mind was going too fast to allow me to fall asleep. I didn't actually start to fall asleep until I heard people in my hall starting to get up, whatever time that was. *sigh*

Cybele is going to be on Martha Stewart? That's awesome. Do you know the date and everything? I became such a Martha Stewart junkie over Christmas break, so I'd love to see this. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part seven

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part seven

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part seven That's ok.

You must still be really tired, because Chloe already posted the date that Cybele is going to be on - March 22nd. I'm really curious to see some form of her personality, especially since everyone always complains that she looks so cold and unfriendly.
