Apparently, not too far from where Adam lives, within a fairly short period of time, there were a lot of child molestations and abductions and the like. That sort of stuff makes anybody sick, but it really upsets him. That's what it's about.

I think its just an excuse to scream and rock out....I've never really listened to the lyrics...lets see what Adam says:

"Mother's Child is a direct response to that child murdering stuff. Those two or three or four of them in a row where i just went so insane. Its about the evil that men do and the rage that invokes in me is really what the song is about."
