I'm constantly begging my mom to close the window or turn off the air conditioner. Yet another reason I'm glad I'll be dorming this summer.

The high today was 85 (and humid...of course). Hello summer!
I do wish I lived in a state that had actual seasons...spring and fall sound like they'd be nice!

It's freezing cold here, and the heating in my room is very weird - it's always either too hot or too cold.
Random, but one of my suitemates is having a friend over, and they are, as usual, being loud. And listening to Hanson.

I get cold and hot very easily. I would walk through a minor ice storm for Anthony, I would drive through anything though. My mom left me a message that was like: "there's gonna be some bad weather so you may want to rethink your plans..." I called her back and asked: "Are there tornados? No? Okay, yeah, I'm going".

It could be far worse...

Amber- i am jealous of your current weather. We had 85 in Arizona, then I came back to NY to this coold.

Spring and fall are nice - fall's my favorite season - but winter is horrible.
And Amber, I apoligize for any implied Hanson hate. I agree, it could be much worse!
Why are you passing out?

It's not summer! It's not, it's not and I'm freezing.
Aside from having a room that's so small that we have to have a bunk bed, the thing that bugs me the most about my dorm is that you can't control the heat in the room - it's whatever the building decides is the right amount for that day. And sometimes, what the building sets the heat at just isn't enough for me. At least we have control over the air conditioner.

Delaware is rather chilly right now, but I'll live. I pine for autumn.
I just got a job ... telemarketing. But seeing as how I am a college student, I'll do practically anything for 9.00/h. Anything. Especially if all I have to do is sit and read off of a computer screen.

It cold out here! cold, cold, would you light my caandlee?
*wishes for snow day tomorrow*
That's how our heater is too, BG.
I emailed about a job at the Lion Theater, for the run of their new show "Savages." It's a bit tough because I can't make daytime tech rehearsals, but i can make it to later rehearsals, and on the performance days (Wednesday-Saturday.)
After I finish this paper, I begin the internship applications process.
It's all about who you know, unfortunately.

Congratulations on getting a job, C&L. I'm guessing that's why most telemarketers take the job - willing to do practically anything.
I'm definitely getting a job this summer, hopefully working in a bookstore or at the public library. I'm enough of a geek to think those might actually be fun.
Internship applications. Thanks for inadvertently reminding me that I have to get my reccomendation form filled out for the apprenticeship application to the new Victory Theater.
Color and Light, was that you that called me an hour ago, asking if I wanted a special identity-theft protection service? I always register my dorm numbers on the Do Not Call list, so I'm pissed when one manages to slip through the cracks.
Em, if YOU are worried about that, think of what other applicants have to deal with.

Thanks, Zyla. I'm still not sure if I should be laughing or not right now - I mean, who ever thinks that one day they'll just suddenly be working as a telemarketer? I wish I was working at Borders Books - but this place is right down the street from my dorm, and the hours are so very flexible.
So be careful when you pick up the phone, people. That person calling in the middle of your dinner might just be me.
ETA: Skittles, I don't officially start terrorizing people until Monday. But every time a female telemarketer calls, just go "ADAM PASCAL THREAD?!" and if it's me, we can laugh and I'll sell you some insurance.
"I'm on the list!"
I'm just afraid to ask for favors. I'll have two really strong recommendations letters, though, so that'll be good.
People used to always call my dorm last year asking for Rodney Dangerfield because my roommate started giving out a fake name.
