I personally adore "I Don't Care Much".

I hope that's on the list of songs he's planning on singing again... new arrangements and the like.

I've often imagined him singing "I Don't Care Much" in concert, without the accent. He'd probably do a slightly different interpretation too.
I wonder who's going to play the Sally Bowles actress in the show?

I Don't Care Much sounds so bizarre without the accent. Raul did it once.

Em, when they replace your iPod, they take out the chip where all your songs are saved and put it into the new iPod, so it should be the same. At least, that's what happened with my roommate, but I guess it depends on what the issue is with your iPod.

Money was one of my favorite parts of his performance. Just... a lot of 'let loose' moments.

Why do you think it sounded bizarre Em? It does feel like a woman's song, so maybe it was the lack of drag that was actually weird.
ETA: I think Money is my favorite of his in Cabaret.

I just mean the way it sounds; I guess it's just because we're used to hearing it with the accent. There's a clip of Raul singing it at Seth's Chatterbox on his site -- no accent.

In all honesty, I adore Raul, I do. But his I Don't Care Much has never impressed me...
That's why I think Adam doing it in concert could potentially work. His I Don't Care Much is amazing.
This is all based on audio, as I wasn't fortunate to see either on stage (which I know could change my opinion).

Adam's upcoming shows sound a bit more cabaret-ish than his old ones - no guitars (I'm not sure how I feel about that) but just piano, bass and drums. Elton started out with that kind of trio, but I don't suppose Adam's keyboardist is going to play like Elton.
I have to go back and listen to "Perfectly Marvellous" because I haven't heard it in a while. I suppose it would be done in a rehearsal context, since "Wilkommen" is the audition piece.

My favorite song from Cabaret is well, Cabaret. I've also been listening to Tomorrow Belongs to Me (Reprise) for a few days...odd. I love the entire show though.

I liked Tomorrow Belongs to me for a while (until I had to perform it). My friends (who played the Emcee) still reminds me of my "lovely" rendition of it with his high pitched voice that he uses, specifically to torture me.

Yeah, definitely, Amber. Raul's tone and MONSTER VIBRATO are way too harsh for that song.
I'm sad about the guitar absence.

This episode is going to be AWESOME.
I just watched Idina's new interview thingies online. She is adorable, and actually talked like a normal person.
Sorry, wrong thread, I know.
