No snow days for me. Universities don't really shut down, although everything else in the city does. I want a new bathing suit.

Old Navy is amazing with sales on bathing suits. I wish I could still wear their stuff.

I used to feel really self concious in 2 pieces, so when I bought my last one I bought the one that fit in the store and looked ok and covered me enough to make me feel comfortable. Sadly, that meant that as soon as it got wet it was way too big. I can't boogie board while trying to keep my bathing suit on! :)

I like tanning, so I like two pieces. I'll have to find one that is more swimmer friendly though, and doesn't malfunction.

Malfunction is right! My old navy suit kept trying to fall off, and then the clip broke on the top of my other suit. While on vacation in mexico I was wearing the top of my red suit and the bottom of my blue suit. I tried to pretend it was a fashion statement! :)

I can't remember the last time I wore a one-piece bathing suit. I've always preferred bikinis, but it's so difficult to find tops that cover everything. The only things that really work for me now are the Victoria's Secret bikinis where you can order the top based on your bra size, but they only make 2 or 3 styles in my size.

I haven't even thought about finding a bathing suit yet. Oh lord I need to go shopping.

I had a string going through the bottom of the top, which the top was able to slide through. A wave came, one side of the top slid, embarrassment ensued.

I never really go swimming. I think it's been over two years - and I really like swimming too.

I have the exact opposite problem BG. A lot of shirts, more than bathing suits, come with pleats in them, and I can't fill them out.

Snowbird, I used to have that problem until a few years ago. Now, most shirt styles look ridiculous on me because they're too tight on top and too loose everywhere else.

I hate how everything has to have a set style, it makes it harder because most bodies don't fit it. I have problems with pants too, my mom always has to shorten the pant legs.

I have the *worst* time finding pants that fit. Most fit fine until the ankle, but then there are LOTS more inches! I feel like a lot of dress pants are made assuming people will be wearing heels. Since I can't wear heels and chase little children around all day, I wind up with really long pants. In some stores I can buy the "short" pants and be ok, but that's really weird to me because I have pretty long legs and I used to have to buy "long!" I wish it was as easy for girls as it is for guys. They just shop by number.

And some pants have detail on the bottom, and shortening them would lose the detail. And capri pants don't fit me properly, they just look like pants that are too short.

So, because my teeth are screwed up, I may need to get implants, which would mean I would need bone augmentation. And today my mother just found out that the bone could either come from another part of my body, like my jaw, or leg, which would mean an OPERATION. OR, the bone can come from *sob* a CADAVER!!!
*WAAAAAAIIIIIILLLLLLLLL* I DON'T WANT A CADAVER! I DON'T WANT A CADAVER!

Wow, Elphie, that does sound stressful. Even though it would hurt I think I'd be willing to give up my own bones instead of that other option.

I have relatively long legs for my height, and a lot of times I have problems with pants being not quite long enough. One thing I don't get at all, however, is the apparent trend of capris that nearly come down to the ankles. IMO, they look silly unless they end at or just below the knee.
Aww, poor Elphie *hugs*

Hopefully I won't have to get implants at all and I can just get a bridge put in. *prays*
