Good idea Mel! I think that I'll name her that!

You know that orange ad on the side of the page? Couldn't they get in trouble for ripping off Rent's logo?

It does look a lot like Rent's logo...

I was wondering that too.

I saw that in a newspaper on Tuesday, and I was like RENT?

Heh, Mandi, I've been thinking the same thing about that ad. It's just eerily similar.
My iPod is my baby. I don't have a name for it though. I think I'll do like the Eskimos and let it choose its own name when it's old enough.

I've never named an object because. I do have a friend that named his guitars after ex-girlfriends. Like his first love's name is the name of his first guitar, etc. I also have a friend that has two tattooed birds named bob and george. But I've never named anything, I should though...
Edit: I take that back, I have named my drum.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who's been thinking that about that ad!
My iPod has a pink case because I couldn't find any other color when the video iPods came out, so I suppose it has to be a girl.

I have no idea what ad you're talking about. I haven't seen the ones you've mentioned earlier too. I haven't named inanimate objects, just my computer because I had to for the network, it's LangstonHughes.

All of the cars in my family are named.

Yeah, that ad is kinda freaky.
I have a pink iPod mini with a matching case. I really need to get a regular iPod, though, because 6 gigabytes is nowhere near enough storage space. I haven't named my iPod or my computer, but I used to name my stuffed animals when I was younger. Now, most of the ones I buy already come with names so I don't have to think about that

I've never named any of my electronic devices...however, I do call my computer a piece of sh*t sometimes.

I haven't named my ipod or computer...although I did put some thought into naming the ipod at one point. My computer is a boy though...he's far too moody and stupid to be a girl. He doesn't like me sometimes...jerk. Ipod's a girl...because she's reliable and amazing.
This is random, but worth a shot...anyone cook around here? Outside of the mac n cheese realm that is

I only cook on days when I can afford to take the extra time. I usually make meat with breadcrumbs on it.
Chicken, smother it in mayonnaise, dip in breadcrumbs, cooked in the oven.
Pork tenderloin, mashed to death, dipped in milk, and then breadcrumbs, cooked in a frying pan on the stove.
That's the extent of my "cooking."

Lol. Sad thing is I do name my stuff. My car's name is Dimples. I think you guys can figure out why. And my guitar's name is Jack. I was into Pirates of the Caribbean at the time so that's why.
The most I can cook is spaghetti, eggs, and pancakes. I'm afraid to try anything else.

My mom is a good cook. All I can make is pancakes/waffles, eggs, and stuff in the microwave. I am scared to turn on the stove, one time I turned it on and the fire like blew up or something. Yea, I am gifted too Mel
