I know it's wrong, but the one about the person who scalped lotto seats to pay their rent is making me laugh. I wonder if the person who made that one is friends with the people a couple of secrets posts ago who hooked up in the bathroom during I'll Cover You.

This is an utterly random question, but I'd appreciate it if anyone could answer it. I recall once reading lyrics for what seemed to be a precursor to Take Me or Leave Me. They were horrible, like "you're the hepatitis in my clam." If anyone actually knows what I'm talking about, was this ever recorded? It doesn't seem to be on my NYTW recording.

I actually think there's a recording of Jonathan singing that song... it was called "The Love of My Life", I believe.

I think that I know what your talking about, but I don't know where I read/heard that. Speaking of NYTW, can someone send it to me? I accidently deleted it.

Lexi, there was a thread about that song on CB a couple of months ago:

YES, Jessica! That's where I read it! Thanks a lot. "You're a diaper with a stinky."

#36 was just weird all around...
Did it seem to anyone else that half of them were like "Rent changed my life, and now it's all slipping away!" or "I relate so much to ___ character."? Those aren't secrets, nor are they particularly interesting to anyone else.
Intreesting about that song. "You're a diaper with a stinky"? *cringes and listens to TMOLM*

Some of the music pre-1996 Rent (whether in the 1994 version, or other music that was never used) makes me laugh...Do a Little Business anyone?

I think that Real Estate is the funniest.

WORD, Ashley.
Ugh, I've been feeling like crap since last night - sore throat and just generally blah. I don't want to go out, but I need to get something to eat and I have a ticket to see Indoor/Outdoor tonight

I agree with you 100%, but unfortunately, isn't that what "secret" communities are truly supposed to be about? Like, if I were to submit a secret such as, "Christmas Bells reminds me of my secret drug addiction that I'm too scared to face," no one would give a ****, but that is a personal secret of sorts. Granted, some of them, like the "I don't like Matt Caplan" ones, aren't even secrets at all.
The truly interesting secrets are the ones that really pertain to cast members in some way, but unfortunately, that usually means starting rumors about a particular performer.

Very good point, Lexi. I guess I shouldn't complain about the secrets being tame and not drama-inducing!

It's not an arrow, it's a triangle.

Ashley... well, the thing is, I agree 100% with you. Personally, I like the "Adam's lips are soft!!" secrets. Heh. Just in the purest sense of a postsecret-esque community, many of the boring secrets still deserve to be there, so to speak.

It's not an arrow, it's a triangle.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Oh. I thought someone submitted it to specifically point at Idina and was completely confused.
Sarah, it's a purple triangle, representing homosexuality.
