Hehe, Lexi, your post in the "who have you met" thread on he main board was brilliant but futile. Don't you get that it's all about quantity, not quality?

haha, I don't have a very impressive list. I've only stagedoored at RENT. I haven't seen that many shows, and I haven't wanted to meet anybody. Although I did want to meet Shoshana Bean and Sutton Foster, but wasn't able to staagedoor.

Heh, thanks. I just don't really see the point in a thread where there are laundry lists upon laundry lists of names. I didn't want to sound bitter/jealous by posting that, though. I'm honestly not, especially considering I really only have the desire to meet, like, two performers.
and seriously who is even reading those lists?
That was actually perfectly reasonable. I guess it kinda my stupid idea in the first place to post a list, but I posted my favorites now.
Oh, yeah, I totally understand. It seemed to be turning into this kind of "I've met more performers than you" competition as to who could list the most names.
I don't mean to offend anyone... it just doesn't make for managable reading when there are hundreds of names to scroll through.

Since Ashley gave me the go-ahead, let the venting begin!
1. Not only was my 8 AM class not cancelled, the professor decided to wait until the very end of the class to give us our quiz and kept us late.
2. I nearly got hit by a van on my way back from class because apparently some people don't realize that they're supposed to stop at a red light.
3. A rather unflattering picture of me in my Halloween costume was among the many pictures the organizers of my school's Valentine's Day Fair lifted from Facebook to use in a photo montage displayed during Singled Out.
4. My roommate wanted some alone time with a boy, so instead of going right home after my last class, I spent 2 hours walking around aimlessly through SoHo in the freezing sludge.
5. Because my mom can't even do something as simple as entering a zip code on an order form without f**king it up, the Godiva chocolates she ordered me as a V-Day gift (and that I could really use right now after the day I've had), are somewhere in limbo.
I'm sorry BG! That sounds horrible!
awww *hugs* I'm sorry you had a bad day. Mine wasn't that great either.. although I did steal a magazine from my dentist for an article on Idina Menzel (yea..if it's possible I have even less of a life now)
I don't even remember the performers I've met. I hate competition. I have only started to stagedoor last year..so not that many *sigh*
aww i'm sorry BG *hugs*
heh Mel.

I'm sorry, but I HAD to smile a bit at this one because it sounds exactly like something my mother would do. She always insists on making everything 100x harder than it actually is.
My parents are gone at the moment which implicitly gives me the permission to get some sushi. I've got to go, but I hope your evening is better than your day, Jessica!
I just applied for a job and I'm kinda nervous. I want to get the job, but I sort of don't at the same time. I was kind of pushed into this by my mother. She's always on my back trying to get me to do something I don't want to do. Taking an ACT prep course, applying for a job, studying, you name it she wants me to do it.
Sorry I really needed to vent.
That does sound like a bad day! Take it easy and try to enjoy your evening, if that's possible.
Why wouldn't you want the job?
Aww, sorry BG.
Aww, thanks, you guys.

If I weren't craving that chocolate so badly, I would probably be laughing my ass off at the whole situation - see, when she placed the order, she entered in the mailing adress of my dorm but the zip code of our house. She also ordered a box for my roommate, entered the right zip code for that one, and it got here a few days ago.
steal her chocolates
The only reason I wouldn't want the job is because my life is so hectic and I have to get better grades and stuff before I apply to college, but I won't have lots of free time if I take this job.
Oh.. well do what's going to make you happy =)
I have no chocolate in my house
I have gross truffels.
Godiva truffles are AMAZING.
Y-U-M!
wow i havn't double posted in a while
