re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

Indeed. Either my mom's student's or friends as presents usually get her a gift certificate there. We had one for I think 5 months, and realized it was perfect that Aida would be playing there.

I'll try my best to post a good review. I certainly have been hearing good things about it. Hopefully I'll love it, rave about it, and convince those who are unsure about seeing it that it's definitely worth a visit.

Morning Fantab.

Sounds like you had a great time, Opiv! I'm really glad. My friend who went to the Syracuse signing has some videos she made of it that she's working on uploading. Hopefully all will go well, and I'll be able to share some of them.

Morning. I blame you guys for my being so tired this morning, just so you know. Well, you and my utter lack of self-discipline.

opiv, it sounds like you had a wonderful time! I'm really glad that you got to go to the signing. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

I was wondering about the NACA thing to, especially since I was all about e-mailing the concerts guy here to tell him to book Adam. Maybe he just realized that he was able to get enough bookings without doing the conference.

Edit: Sorry to hear that about your paper, Sarah!

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

I am so utterly tired right now and I can't sleep. Please tell me to get the hell out of the chatroom before 3 AM next time!

I'm sorry to hear about your paper, Sarah. I don't know how to say this without sounding rude, but perhaps you should try to eliminate all distractions for a while and just write? I realize the advice is a bit late now, but I know that I definitely can't work with BWW and a chatroom open.

I wish Adam would post on his MySpace again and let everyone know what's going on!

He probably can't figure out how to do it more than once.

re: AIDA -- those productions tend to be pretty similar to the Broadway ones, which is why I'm thinking about going.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

Hey, sorry I had to jump off last night-- had some things that I had to do.

RE: NACA... if, indeed, he has cancelled (as someone mentioned, this may well be a glitch in the web system), I wonder if it has anything to do with the timing of his wife's book release? Someone has to stay home with the kids... ;~)

I'm just really surprised that Adam doesn't have a more official web site-- from a marketing perspective, it would make so much more sense. I know the myspace thing is out there, but updates from Adam/ Sh-k-boom seem to be few & far between.

PS-- Thanks everyone for the kind & warm welcome-- I really appreciate it!!

I wish I could pass around whatever has made me want to go to bed at ten lately, Lexi. Maybe Adam himself doesn't know what's happening yet, though we all know that communication isn't exactly his middle name.

sweetestsiren - sorry to just leave. I was falling asleep and I just left!

WRQ - be careful not to sleep through Aida and miss it. Like you missed J&H re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

I kind of wonder what his middle name actually IS.

Sorry, random curiousity.

Hi, Kim.

OH! My friend who was supposed to go to Cybele's play ended up not being able to go, but her classmates did like the play, and Adam WAS there. She said her professor sat next to him and one of her friends said he looked old, which I refuse to believe.

That's cool Em. Too bad that your friend couldn't go. I'm sure that he doesn't look old. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

Kim, you're right. It doesn't make sense for Adam to have no official, often-updated website, especially for someone that has a fanbase with a lot of technologically-adept people. I'd be glad to lend my skills to him for free!

Em, when was this play? Heh, you should have asked about his current hair! re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six Hopefully it hasn't been bleached or turned blue since Rent.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

It was earlier this week... I think. Not sure exactly.

He needs an official website that includes ALL of his projects. Sh-k-Boom mentions his Broadway stuff, but he needs one that focuses on that, too. I know that the girl who runs A-P.com had the site put on Sh-k-Boom's links, at least.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

It would be nice if he got an official website that listed all of his upcoming projects.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

I'm just not a huge fan of Sh-k-Boom's website design. It looks more like an online store than an information source -- which is fine, but even having some sort of official blog would be nice. (I know, I'm overly picky.) Cybele could show him out to use Blogger... it couldn't be any easier!

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

Hey Em-- I'm sure he didn't look old. Oprah says 50 is the new 30, so he's barely old enough to drive. ;~)

Couldn't agree more on the website. It's such a slam dunk. I've no idea why he doesn't leverage that PR angle... or why his PR people don't leverage that angle.

I know. I think it would be a really wise move that doesn't require a lot of time or money. There are so many people with HTML knowledge out there, many of which I'm sure would design Adam's website for free. I know I would!

ANYway, since this is clearly wishful thinking...

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

Well. He IS going grey.

AHHHHHHHH.

Connie, who runs A-P.com asked if there was a way to get her site officialized somehow, but Kurt said he didn't have the power to do that, or something.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

What do you have to do to turn a fansite into an official site?

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

I refuse to believe that was anything other than the lighting! As some of you from the chat know, I was poking around a-p.com last night and found a high-resolution photo where he definitely was wearing lipstick, BUT I didn't see any grey hairs.

Even a-p.com is incomplete and rarely updated. The person who runs it seems like an absolute sweetheart, but she sounds like she's extremely busy. Adam (well, Sh-k-Boom) just needs to find someone with basic HTML knowledge and enough time to devote to a site with news and some media files.
