Didn't you mention that you offered to help her update it, Lexi?
I want to see this picture.
Someone should help her out. It's a nice site.

Okay... wait. Maybe there's like, ONE. I can't tell if it's the lighting or grey hairs!

Remove the space in the URL -- it's a HUGE photo, so I didn't want it to interfere with this page.
No, I didn't, Ashley. I would be more than happy to help her, but I'm not sure if she would want to give her password and website-related information to a stranger. I also don't want to step on her toes or end up doing something with the site she disagrees with, etc.
Hehehe. It actually doesn't show up as that huge in my browser, but maybe it resizes it automatically.
Okay, apparently I made that up about the website thing then.

Grey is easiest to hide with blond hair... ;~)
OMG HIS EYES.
Lexi. Dye!!
I agree with you all about an official website, though one thing that sets Adam apart in my mind is his lack of one with pretty pictures plastered all over it. Instead he has the spartan Sh-K-Boom look. It seems to indicate a certain lack of vanity. A blog is a lost cause, I think. Everything seems to indicate that he's going to write a blog entry sometime after going to the dentist and having half his teeth pulled.
ETA: You weren't kidding, that picture is HUGE. I've seen it before, but much smaller.

Ashley, do you use IE? If so, it is probably resizing it. Hover your cursor over the image for a few seconds and a button should appear on the bottom of the image. Click it and the photo will appear full size.
hahaha
The picture is HUGE.
Nope, Firefox... but if I click on the zoom feature it's really huge, so I'll assume that's what you guys are seeing.
Adam? Lack of vanity?
heh!
That photo is almost life-sized.

Heh, Em, I know! It looks freshly dyed, too.
Chloe, I'm certainly not advocating an official website with a bunch of photos of himself plastered over it (although, it probably wouldn't be such a bad marketing move ). I just think it's unfortunate that there isn't some sort of official website for him that actually has basic information like tour dates and news. Something like a blog would suffice. He wouldn't even need to update it, but just have a way of getting in touch with the person who does every so often.
Oh, and I have to agree with Em here... any man who dyes his hair as much as Adam does NOT have a lack of vanity. Hee.

Basically, a website would provide a guerilla-style marketing outlet and fill in the void (rather than having the void filled with rumors and half-information). Since Adam seems to have a grass-roots sort of fanbase, it would make the most sense. Also, if he's targeting the college circuit, web is your best advertising/ marketing medium. It's a shame not to make the most of the opportunity.
The problem with Myspace is (a) it doesn't get updated very often, and (b) while the friends are nice, all of those comments reflect directly on Adam-- if it's his official site, it gives the impression that he approves of all the content that's there. Yes, we all understand what Myspace is, but to newbies that are just checking it out for the first time, there could be a less-than-positive reaction.
...sorry, Marketing-Geek-Speak just slipped out. You can tell I've been doing this stuff too long. ;~)
I'm surprised about the lack of commentary about the lipstick.
Any man who LOVES HIMSELF as much as Adam does does not lack vanity!

Kim, I like the way you think! Considering his relatively young fanbase, it would be such a wise move. I also don't think that MySpace is bad so much because of what you can find on it, but rather the site's format doesn't lend itself to anything more than posting pretty photos of yourself and occasional blog updates. You are right, though... all the "OMG SO HOT!!!" comments probably wouldn't reflect well on an official-type site.

I think we've all grown used to it by now!
Believe me, the man does not lack vanity. You just wait until you see the DVD.
I know it seems odd, but I really do believe he has a certain lack of vanity. I think he tries to look good for the sake of his career, and plays around with his hair color because for some reason it's a lot of fun for him, but I don't sense real killer actor vanity there.
Oh, and I think he wears makeup at his public appearances because he can look kind of monotone without it.
In defense of his "I'm so manly" image, that COULD pass for severe dryness, since it's not even or anything. I mean, sometimes, when it's cold, my lips get really red and look like I'm wearing lipstick... but they're just dry. And it's painful.

Now I'm even more excited!

Em, he actually said that? Haha!
Fantab, please don't tell me that we're going to be subject to Adam's "I'm sexy" ramblings. If so, I wonder how he explains the horrible shots during "Your Eyes."
Erm...he really does sound intelligent, then again, he REALLY likes to talk about his hair.
I don't remember the exact wording, but he had this look on his face like he just wanted to ignore that fact.
I don't think -- for how often he dresses like a weird bum -- it's so much physical vanity. I mean, you're supposed to dress nicely for public appearances. I think it's -- and I say this as nicely as is possible -- egotistical vanity. When you're showered with so much public affection, I think that's sort of natural. But just the way he carries himself, and is so, so aware of what people feel for him.
"MY HAIR, MY HAIR!!"
hahaha.
ETA -- do we need to talk about the chapters again?
lol. i can totally picture him screaming "MY HAIR! MY HAIR!" *chuckles* hehehe

Didn't he say he was sick of people talking about it?!

I just chalked that up to Adam having no idea how to apply makeup!
