I've had my LJ for a year ... a bunch of friends and I started them as a joke but they've actually become a handy communication tool as people move away or get busy with life. However, a group of people we know recently made a dummy account and have started making b*tchy comments about things people are posting. A stranger is one thing but people doing it purely out of spite are obnixous. I feel like I'm in middle school.

I only use my LJ for communities as well. I'm horrible at blogging -- I would always tailor my entries based on what I think would receive the most comments instead of actually writing about what I felt.

I think the overly bitchy commenters are just as bad as the people who make the unncessary posts in the first place. Really, it takes you longer to think of a witty comment and click "reply" than to just scan over the entry.

I don't think I've ever posted in my LJ. I did keep a Xanga for a few months about 2 years ago, but it just became more hassle than it was worth. I always felt like I sort of had to censor myself because I knew that a lot of the people I was writing about were reading it.

I can't, Lexi! I have to leave for synagogue in, oh...7 minutes. I'm not even dressed. Then I'm going to dinner at the Center for Jewish Life with my sister. Our parents have abandoned us for the weekend.
