He'd be a kick ass Cosette.

YOUNG Cossette, even. Castle on a Cloud? Yes!
I am ashamed to say I barely know one character from another in Les Mis. I'll give it another chance when it comes back, if it doesn't sell out in 3.2 seconds.

Em, you must! It's a masterpiece. We can go together.
Listen to Les Mis. I love it.
Cosette is the one with the high opera voice.
I saw it like two summers before it closed. I dunno. The music is really pretty, but I felt like it just went on and on and on FOREVER. I got into the love story more than anything else, and just couldn't keep all of those French guys straight -- Javert, Enjolras, Valjean... oy. In my defense, it wasn't a good day for a show. I had been up since like 5 am travelling, and working... not good.
I'm always tempted to buy a Les Mis CD when I go to Tower Records, but there are just too damn many to choose from.

And Eponine is the one every girl aspires to play. Heh.

I definitely had to read the synposis a few times to get the story straight and I didn't immediately care for it either, although I was very young when I first saw it.
Jessica, I don't care what anyone says -- the OBC is the best! Frances Ruffelle!
Ugh, I *really really can't stand* Frances Ruffelle's voice. It's really nasaly and makes me never want to listen to On My Own.

We watched the movie last year in Western Civ, but I haven't listened to the recording.
Les Mis 10th Annivesary Concert... Michael Ball and Lea Solonga... <3

I understand, Fantab. She's very much like Daphne -- a love her or hate her performer. I think she expresses the perfect amount of brightness and heartbreak in her voice, but I can also see where those who complain about her are coming from.

I read the book in French class in grade 12. The movie we watched was HORRIBLE. We snickered our way through it. Fantine's scene was just... awful. Screeching and writhing... ugh.
I like the movie with Uma Thurman and Liam Neeson!
I have the 10th Anniversary Concert at home. My mom taped it on VHS before I think I'd ever seen the show. I get chills when all the Valjeans come out.
I really love that DVD... I was going to buy it a few years ago, but it was out of print or something. I have the CD of the concert. Michael Ball looks like a big teddy bear in it. <3
That would be awesome to see.
I also don't really understand the show, but completely love the music
I have the OBC as well. We used to listen to it a lot on the car ride to Florida, so when it came to Toronto like 8 years ago my dad took us. I saw it again on tour in October. It makes me happy.
Hallelujah. Movie time. I'll be back later.
I have the French Recording...and even though I don't understand most of it, I love it.
I'm going out to dinner, then going home for the night. I'll be back here tomorrow afternoon - try not to have too much fun without me!
There might just be a part 7 when you get back BG.
Wow, I didn't realize we were that far along already.
